The topic of this unit is spending time with friends. The language goals of this

unit are talking about ownership and how to make suggestions. The target Analysis of the

language “Do you have a soccer ball?” is a general question. it is answered with teaching material “Yes, I do.” or “No, I don’t.” In the first period, students can learn names of

sports and the target language, Yes/No questions and short answers. Students can get a lot of listening and oral practice. All the activities can raise students’ learning interest, the activities are designed to improve students’ listening and speaking skills.

The students are of grade7. In this unit, students will learn to talk about sports.
