T: OK, now. let’s count one to ten first in order then backward. One,

two, three…ten. Ten nine eight…one. Very good. Let’s watch the

video and enjoy the music: one two three four five, once I caught a

fish alive. Six seven eight nine ten, Then I let it go again. Why did you

let it go? Because it bit my finger so. Which finger did it bite? This

little finger on the right.

Step2 Revision of English names

Review the first names and last names with Ss.

Review the questions about names:

T: What’s your English name ? S: My English name is Mike

Smith.

3T: What’s your family name ? S: My family name is Smith.

T: What’s your his/her Given name? S:His/Her first name is … .

Step3 Making ID cards

Have Ss look at the ID card in 3b. According to the

information on the ID card, ask Ss to finish the task on the

right in 3b.

Step 4 Self-check

Have Ss make a self-check about the vocabulary they learnt in

Unit1. Check the words they can read, speak and dictate.

Step5 Homework:

Make your own ID card, filling the information, drawing the image of

yourself or sticking a photo of you on it.
