一.教学课题：Module 4 A Social Survey---My Neighbourhood 二.教材分析：

1.）内容分析：本模块通过学生对话的形式，介绍了厦门市的地理位置、气候、城市概况、如旅游景点、建筑、住宅、商业区等等。通过本课的学习使学生了解厦门市的概况和介绍某个城市的方法。增进学生对自己所居住城市的了解，培养热爱祖国、热爱自己家乡的美好情感。

2.）学情分析：在初中英语学习的基础上，刚升入高中的学生还没有掌握略读，跳读等阅读技巧，及识别关键词，确定主题句等策略。并且大部分学生基础薄弱，英语阅读能力较差，主动学习性不够。因而采取多媒体教学，设置感兴趣的话题来激发学生交流和学习的兴趣，使学生始终处于积极、主动的思考、探究的状态中，创造充满活力的课堂氛围。

3.）教学目标：①通过阅读让学生熟悉课文内容并学会使用与介绍人们的居住有关的词汇，掌握介绍某个地方的要点和方法。②提高学生的阅读能力，培养阅读技巧。③培养热爱祖国、热爱家乡的美好情感。

4.）教学重难点：

①帮助学生掌握文章大意，理清文章脉络，提高略读、查读的能力。

②培养学生合作意识，锻炼学生英语口语表达能力，提高学生的自信心。

任务型教学、合作学习与探究、小组讨论
