教材分析

In this module, we are going to learn the vocabulary of body and healthy habits, sentence patterns about talking future and nouns used as verbs. The students are required to master and use them correctly.

This part introduces Li Kang’s life style. After reading the passage, the students are expected to understand why Li Kang lives a healthy life. The reading purpose is to make sure that the students obtain the information correctly and discuss how to live a healthy life.

In the last class, students have read the passage Zhou Kai (1), and they have done Task4 on page3 about Zhou Kai (2) and have known the detailed information about it, so the important part in today’s class is to find out the topic sentence of the passage and discuss whether Zhou Kai lives a healthy life and find out the proof form the text Zhou Kai (2), and then discuss how to live a healthy life as well as writing down a paragraph about it. And the difficult part is how to train the students’ reading ability, and how to train the students to express themselves bravely and correctly. To solve the problems, teacher should guide the students to review how to find out the topic sentence of each paragraph, how to express their opinion and how to write a paragraph. And then they finish the tasks in groups. All the students behaves well and we finished the contents and tasks in this period, but in the last activity for the students to present their writings, there’s something wrong with the operation of the multimedia. Therefore, in the following teaching, the teacher should try to adjusting the multimedia to avoid such situation.
