教材分析

本课教材为外研社《英语》（新标准）（三年级起点）五年级下册Module 9 Unit 2 Mum bought new T-shirts for you.本单元的话题是谈论自己的经历，主要是继续学习巩固一般过去时及书写书信的常用格式。课文中也有一般将来时的复习运用，需要带领学生简略归纳复习。

本单元的课文情境是Simon从美国寄给Daming一封信,信中说再过三周全家就要与Daming见面了，Simon的爸爸会在Simon的房间里加一张床；Simon的妈妈给Daming买了新T恤衫；Simon的爸爸读了一本介绍中国历史的书，他有一些问题要请教Daming他们还为Daming借了一辆自行车。最后Simon还在信中提醒Daming别忘记带几张中国歌曲的CD，他们在晚上可以一起欣赏中国歌曲。

二、学情分析

本模块的学习重点是复习和巩固行为动词一般过去时的用法，谈论过去发生的事情。其实从四年级下册的第五模块开始，学生就已经开始接触一般过去时了，已经能理解并能初步运用一般过去时来询问和谈论一些过去的行为或活动。在一单元的学习中学生们对一般过去式掌握比较好，因此二单元中可适当借助教材引导学生对其它时态进行复习运用。除此之外，还应适当引导学生通过书信的方式和其他人进行信息分享。

三、教学目标

1、语言技能

⑴ 全体学生能听懂“Mum bought new T-shirts for you..”

⑶ 全体学生能朗读课文，阅读相关短文。

（一）Warm-up and lead in

1.Greetings.

2.Enjoy the song together:”POSTMAN,POSTMAN”.

3.Review M9U1: Daming’s letter from the UK. 4.Lead in: Look at the pictures: What did they do?

(teach the words:borrow/ read)

(二)Task presentation

1.This class we will continue learning module9 but unit 2 Mum bought new T-shirts for you.

2.This our task today:

This class we will talk about Daming’s the other letter from the US(mainly

review the simple past tense).

Then let’s write a letter to our friends using the simple past tense.

(三)Text learning

1.Look, this is Daming’s the other letter from the US.

Do you want to know “who wrote the letter?”

Let’s watch.(A2)

2.Answer: Simon.

3.I have two questions:

(1)What did Simon’s family do?

(2)What are Simon’s family going to do?

(Talk about the questions in groups, report in the class.)
