一、教学目标

能听懂、理解故事，并能听、说、认读会故事中句子。

学会运用put on/take off ,get on/get off. 3.

掌握四会单词coat. 4.

理解go for a ride和You’ve sat on a cactus.的含义。

能够表演动作故事。

过程与方法：

通过听录音看图片了解故事大意。

通过TPR教学法感知理解句子含义。

3.

创设情境，在具体的语境中掌握短语put on, take off ,get on, get off两组反义词的用法。

4.

通过小组合作表演动作故事，激发学生对英语的学习热情。

了解探险小常识，培养学生在生活中遇到困难要有勇有谋，克服困难的品格。

三、教学过程

Step 1: Warm up

A.

Lead in Watch a video and understand what adventures are. Show a picture of cowboy to lead in the story. B.

Introduce objectives Today we will learn an action story. C.

Expected results Do you want to learn it? Step 2: Presentation and practice Task 1: Listen, read and mime. Activity 1: Listen, read and mime. A. Show task Show picture 1 to elicit the words “cowboy hat” and “boots”.

B. Self-learning Read the words. Then listen and read the sentences. C. Communication Make new sentences using “put on” and “take off”.

Activity 2: Listen and match. A. Show task Take out their papers. Listen and match the sentences to the pictures. Explain the sentences for them.

B. Self-learning Students try to read the sentences. Then say a chant in groups. C. Communication Listen and mime the actions together. Activity 3: Listen and choose. A. Show task Listen and choose the answers. B. Self-learning Check their answers. Then read the sentences. C. Communication Say a chant together. Listen, read and mime the actions. Task2: Listen, number and act out. A. Show task Listen and number the pictures. Listen and number the sentences. B. Self-learning Students do the exercise by themselves. Then check their answers. C. Communication Act out the story in groups.

Step 3. Check Groups act out the story in class. Homework: Act the story for your parents.
