教学内容：

Unit 10, Book VI Part1 课前反思：在9单元的学习中，学生掌握动词词组的动名词结构，比如cleaning the windows等，有利于本课的学习。

教学目标：

知识目标：1. By using courseware teaching tools, students san listen ,

read , say and write the words:

cleaning the room, cooking dinner, reading a book, setting the table.

2. Through making sentences, asking and answering practice “What are you doing ? I’m cleaning the room” proficiently. 能力目标：1. Through listening, reading , role play , making dialogues , students can listen , read, and act out the dialogue even to practice

the context .

2. Through learning the whole text , we can let the students write a little composition about themselves according to their learning in the class . 情感目标：1.To be a student, we should clean up after themselves, and help our parents do some housework. 教学重点：1. Learn to use the pattern .

2. Learn to use the dialogue in part “ Learn to say “ and try to write the same composition according to the teachers’ .

教学难点：1. The writing methods of the word “cleaning the room, cooking dinner, reading a book, setting the table. “

2. To read the context loudly and use the pattern “What are you doing ? I’m cleaning the room” in reality .

教具准备：word cards , courseware , books , teaching tools

教学时间：2课时

教学流程：

1.复习检测（听写上节课四会单词）

cleaning the windows, sweeping the floor, doing the dishes, washing clothes 2.巧妙导入; Two students make a dialogue talking about the their bedroom . 3.引出主题

：Can you do housework?

What kinds of housework can you do?

4.解决难点：Words and sentences study: (1) Play a guessing game “What kinds of housework can you do?”

(2)Teacher prepares four pictures ,students choose anyone ,answering the question” What are you doing?”

5.听音感知：Listen to the tape and try to choose the question “What are you doing? I’m cleaning…” you ‘ve heard .

6.默读初始：Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups . 7.朗读探知：Read loudly and answer the questions.

8.听音跟读：Listen and try to read after the tape. 9.角色朗读：小组读，男女读，开火车读，领读，师生对读，角色读。

10.留白处理：留白读，去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。

11.短文示范：

On duty We are on duty today. Linda is cleaning the room. Tom is setting the table. I’m cleaning the windows. Spot is sweeping the floor. What do you usually do when you are on duty? 学生仿写：Students can imitate it and try to write it own . 12.课堂小结：Today we learn the text and words : cleaning the room, cooking dinner, reading a book, setting the table. 13.布置作业：Assignment of Homework.
