Let’s talk

一、教学目标

1.知识目标

(1)能听懂、会说、会读有关职业和表示地点的单词如policeman,farm等。

(2)能掌握以下句型:

—What do you do? —I am a farmer. —Where do you work? —I work on a farm. —Is your work interesting? —Yes,I like it. 2.

能力目标

学生能在实际情境中询问工作或职业,灵活运用句型“What do you do?”“Where do you work?”等句型进行简单的交流对话并运用到生活中去。

3.

情感态度目标

培养学生学习英语的兴趣和自主学习的能力。通过对本课职业的学习鼓励学生为了自己理想的职业而努力。

二、教学重难点

教学重点

(1)理解并掌握如何用一般现在时询问职业以及表示职业和地点的单词:farmer,policeman,farm,street (2)能用What do you do ? I’m a farmer. Where do you work? I work on a farm.句型询问工作或职业。

2.教学难点

学生可将本课的目标语言运用到实际语境中去。

卡纸(能制作名片的彩色卡纸)

五、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up and lead in 1.

Free talk T:Good morning. S:Good morning. T:How are you? S:I’m fine.

T:What can I do? Lead Ss to answer:You are a teacher. 2.

Play a song《Job Song》.After listening the song, ask Ss what job they hear.

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Learn new words (1)Show some covered pictures of different kinds of jobs.then let Ss guess what it is.Teach the names of jobs one by one. (2)Listen to the tape and find the jobs.The students read the passage quickly and circle the jobs 2.

Learn sentence pattern Read and answer the following questions. Then write them on the blackboard. T: What do you do? S: I’m a farmer. T:Where do you work? S:I work on a farm. Teacher ask and Ss answer.

Step 3 Practice 1.Activity one:Role-play the conversation

(1)教师学生看简笔画分角色朗读;

(2)教师扮演Boy,Group A 扮演Farmer, Group B扮演Policeman朗读对话;

(3)男女生分角色朗读对话;

(4)同桌两个人表演对话

2.Activity two:Pair Work Show some pictures of different kinds of jobs.Aak Ss to practice the conversation. A:What … you … ? B:I am a ... A:Where … you …? B:I work … a farm. A:Is your work …? B: Yes,it’s.../No, it is ...

Step 4 Consolidation Group Work: Talk about your and your classmates’
