Module6 Unit1 Happy birthday!

一、教学目标

1.知识目标：

（1）要求学生掌握词汇：happy

birthday

here

present

pen

pencil

cake （2）句型：--Happy birthday.

--Here’s your ...

--Thank you.

2.技能目标：

（1）能听懂、理解课文大意并回答出相关问题；

（2）能用Here’ your ...向别人赠送礼物，以及用Thank you. 对别人的赠送做出

回应；能用Happy birthday！向别人祝贺生日。

3.情感目标：

采用游戏、活动等手段，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。学生通过课文的陶冶，关注自己的家人和朋友的生日。了解中西方文化差异。

二、教学重点和难点

1、教学重点

词汇happy，birthday，pen, pencil,cake以及Here’s

your ….Thank you.的语言结构。

2、教学难点

词汇

“birthday”“present”的发音。

三、学习策略

能积极与他人合作，共同完成学习任务；能积极运用所学的知识进行表达和交流；能在学习新知中锻炼自我的探究能力。

四、教具准备

多媒体课件、光盘、教学卡片、头饰等。

五、教学过程

Step 1.

Warm-up 1. Greetings.

2. Sing a song: Ten little fingers.

【设计意图】：通过师生间的问候，拉近与学生们的距离；接着与生们同唱英语歌曲既活跃课堂气氛，又复习上节课内容，同时为接下来新课中“生日岁数”学习做好铺垫。

Step 2.

Lead-in

Listen to the new text of Activity1 and lead in the topic:

T: Today I’ll introduce you 3 boys. Who are they? Let’s listen.(听课文Activity1)

Ss:…

T: Say“hello”to Jim\Tim\Kim. Ss: Hello Jim\Tim\Kim. T: Today is their birthday. What should we say? Listen.(再次听课文Activity1)

Ss: Happy birthday.

T: Yes. Today we are going to learn “Module6 Unit1 Happy birthday!”

【设计意图】：通过师提问题，生听课文回答问题的方式，自然而然地引出新课课题。

Step 3.

Presentation 1.Do actions and learn words: “happy, birthday”

（1）“happy”:/ӕ/ /ӕ/ /hӕpɪ/ and do a big smile.(教师教读，且让学生跟读同时做微笑的表情)

（2）“birthday”:/ə:/ /ə:/ /bə:θdeɪ/

Look at the screen and read it.

（3）Read a chant:

happy, happy

birthday, birthday

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday! （4）Listen and imitate

Read the new text in roles.

2.Learn the new text of Activity2

T: There is a birthday party. Whose birthday? Let’s listen.

（1）Listen and answer: “Whose birthday?”（听课文Activity2）

Ss: Sam.

T: Hello, I’m Sam. Today is my birthday. （教师戴头饰）

Ss: Happy birthday!

T: Thank you.

（2）T: Daming wants to give a present to Sam. How does Daming say?

Listen again and answer: “How does Daming say?”

Ss: Here’s …

T: Look! “here”---/ə/ /ə/ /hɪə/, here ---here’s=here is(read in group)Oh,

what’s this?( 教师出示装有糖果的礼盒）

Ss:礼物。

T: Let’s listen again.

Ss: Present.

（3）Learn “present”(分发糖果).

S1: present

T: Great!

Ss: Here’s your present.(教师分发糖果给学生作为小礼物。)

(4) Pair work:  Read in roles.(T-Ss, Ss-Ss)

S1:Here’s your present.

S2: Thank you.(学生上台进行角色对话展示)

T:In abroad, when you get a present, you can open it right now.(讲完，老师用中文做出解释)

Show a box and play a guessing game.（教师出示一个盒子，做猜猜看的游戏）

（7）Learn: “cake”

T: So what present does Daming give? Ss: Pen.(学生看PPT，并跟读这部分课文内容) T: What about Ms Smart? Now listen.

T：Cake(教师用升降调带读) Ss:…

T: There are two cakes on the blackboard. It’s a red... Ss: cake. T:And a... Ss: yellow cake(教师利用黑板上画的两个用来比赛的蛋糕进行操练。) （8）T: The last question “how old is Sam?”

3. Read the whole text of Activity2（学生看书跟读整篇课文）

【设计意图】：通过chant、guess game, 升降调，角色扮演等形式组织学生学习词汇及句子，激发学生的兴趣，调动学生的积极性。

Step 4.

Practice 1. Bomb game. 2. Guess and make a dialogue. 【设计意图】：通过游戏、对话练习，有趣且有效地巩固知识点，让学生们能够做到“玩中学，学中玩”的最好的学习状态。

Consolidation

Birthday party.

(活动规则：师课前做调查这个月都有谁过生日，然后这节

课上一起给他们过一个生日。要求其他学生提前自制一份生日礼物带来送给过生日的同学。且师当场拿出一个蛋糕，集体唱生日歌。) Teacher sets an example with a pupil Pupils discuss in their group Ask some pupils to show ④T shows a cake and sing the birthday song together. 【设计意图】：创设真实的生日情境，让学生灵活运用本节所学重点句型学以致用。既让学生们发挥了自我主动性去思考问题、解决问题，又让他们乐在其中，快乐地把语言知识运用于实际生活。

Homework 1. Make a birthday card 2. Read P32-P33 【设计意图】：制作英语生日贺卡，让生们继续把语言知识拓展到课外，学以致用；且布置课文朗读又能及时、有效地巩固新知。
