教学内容:Unit 3,Book VIII 课前反思:在以前的学习中,就医及询问他人身体健康状况的基本表达方式。

Be able to understand and use the sentences : “When were you born ?I was born in 1980 .My animal sign is Monkey .;Be able to read、listen and white the words :were was be born mouse dragon snake .;

Be able to describe what happened in the past with “was”

教学流程:(14步)

巧妙导入; Greetings Listen to the text about Chinese paper cutting art and twelve animal signs.

2.

引出主题 : Know about twelve animal signs: Mouse / Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit / Hare, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat / Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. 3.

解决难点: Enjoy a movie Twelve Animal Signs. T: My animal sign is Tiger. What about you? What’s your animal sign?

S: My animal sign is .(Monkey / Goat / Rooster) Talk with your partner. What’s your animal sign? My animal sign is

. What are their animal signs? What’s his / her animal sign? His / Her animal sign is . (Ox, Mouse, Dragon, Snake, Tiger, Rabbit / Hare, Horse, Goat / Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.) Read and write the new words “mouse, dragon, and snake”

4.听音感知:Listen to the tape and try to choose the question? 1) What’s his animal sign? 5.默读初始:Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups . 6.朗读探知:Read loudly and answer the questions. 7.听音跟读:Listen and try to read after the tape. 8.角色朗读:小组读,男女读,开火车读,领读,师生对读,角色读。

9.留白处理:留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。

10.短文示范:
