【教材分析】：

本课的教学内容是本单元的第五课时，主要内容是培养学生通过听录音获取信息的能力。是将听说读写糅合在一起进行综合训练，以提高学生综合应用英语的能力。

【学情分析】：

初一年级个别学生不明确学习英语的目的；有些同学对学好英语没有自信，不敢用英语表达。缺乏小组合作，一些学生没有养成良好的学习习惯，不能做好课前预习课后复习，学习没有计划性和策略性；虽然如此，但是他们的求知欲望非常的强烈。

【教法分析】：

在教学方法上，本人遵循任务性教学的原则设计语言实践活动，创设真实环境，让学生利用所学知识解决实际问题。本人采用情景教学法、游戏教学法、竞赛法、合作学习法等多种教学方法，并通过合理利用多媒体课件展开课堂教学，来体现学生Work alone和

Pair work两种活动。

【教学目标】：

1.能在听力材料中找出金鱼的具体特征。

2.能用已获取的信息完成对话。

3.能用英语谈论自己喜欢的宠物。

【教学步骤】：

Step1: Lead-in 1.

Let me show two videos for you first. These two videos are from a famous TV program called Wonderful Friends. This program invited six stars to the zoo to look after different kinds of animals, such as pandas, elephants, bears and so on. Can we keep them as our pets? Of course not, but we can keep dogs and cats as our pets 【设计意图】: 通过电视节目“奇妙的朋友”引出照顾动物和养宠物的主题。

Step2: Present

Peter keeps two dogs and he takes good care of them. He

brushes its fur every day, he weighs the dog very often. This dog weighs 5000 grams. Now he wants to keep goldfish as pets because goldfish don’t make any noise, but he doesn’t know how to look after goldfish, so he decides to listen to a talk on goldfish.
