一、教材分析：

本课是河北教育出版社冀教版小学英语Student Book 4 Unit 2 Lesson 10: Rain and Sun。本课教学设计总的指导思想是：“以新课标的基本理念为依据，根据四年级学生的心理特点，改变传统的死记硬背的英语教学方式，培养和激发学生学习英语的兴趣，从而提高学生的学习能力。”

二、学情分析：

四年级的学生已经开始有了自己的思想，对任何事物都有很大的好奇心，但他们的思维能力和认知水平还处于待发展状态，自我控制力和学习主动性不是十分高，因此，课堂上就很难创设融洽和谐的学习氛围。但因为学生的好奇心强，探究欲望高。善于在老师指导下进行合作，是学习本课的有利因素。教学时，我针对学生的这些情况，有效的落实教学方法。

三、教学目标：

这课是在前面所学的基础上，继续扩大词汇量，学会新单词

sun , cloud , rain , wind和snow, 再将单词放入句型进行巩固练习。

1）知识目标：能听、说、认读单词sun , cloud , rain , wind和snow。

2）能力目标：学生在日常生活中能够掌握天气的有关词汇，在一定程度上会句式转换。

3）情感目标：进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性，树立乐观向上的学习态度。

四、教学重、难点：

六、教学过程：

1.Warm up and Review （1）Greetings （2）Review directly 2.Lead-in and New Concepts （1）Introduce new words: sun, snow, cloud, wind, rain （2）Make sentences (in the textbook)according to the new words. （3）Point the important points about the text. Then translate them into Chinese:

the sun, the moon, the sky, the world, the earth. Look at... Antonyms: hot---cold; white---black （4）Grasp the important sentence(the way to change into it): Do you see the cloud and the rain? （5）Lead the students to read the words and try to find skills to remember them. （6）Read and remember the words and sentences again and again 3.Practice
