一、宾语从句的概念

1、宾语从句即句子作宾语，而不再是一个词或短语作宾语。

I like my teacher.（名词作宾语) I enjoy playing basketball.(动名词作宾语）

I decide to study hard.（不定式作宾语）

I know him .（代词作宾语）

I know that Mr Li teaches English. (句子作宾语）

She asked if the answer was right. (句子作宾语）

宾语从句的句子结构：

主句+连接词（引导词）+宾语从句

3.I worry about whether he can pass the exam. 4.Pay attention to what the doctor said. 二、宾语从句三要素: 连接词、语序、时态

(一). 宾语从句的连接词

从属连词：

that ，whether，if 连接代词:

what, who, whom, which, whose 连接副词:

when, where, how, why 1、由从属连词that 引导的宾语从句，注：that 在句中无词汇意义，在从句中不能充当成分，在口语当中往往省略

2、由从属连词whether, if 引导的宾语从句

(1)if/ whether “是否”，说明对陈述的事物不明确或不清楚。常用在ask, wonder, can(could) you tell me 等后。

I want to know ____________________________. (他是否和我们去公园) 2. Ask him ____________________________. （他是否能来）

3. I wonder ____________________________.

（是否要下雨）

(2). If 与whether 的区别

(3). 由连接代词what, whom, whose, which, who及连接副词

when, where, how, why引导的宾语从句

即：主句+连接词+从句（主+谓+其他成分）

当从句的原句为以下句子以及what, who作主语时，语序不变：

eg:

I don’t know what’s the matter.

2. What does he want to buy ? I don’t know what he wants to buy . I don’t know what does he want to buy . 3. Who are we going to meet ? Can you tell me who we are going to meet ? Can you tell me who are we going to meet ? 4. Does he know French ? We want to know if/whether he knows French . We want to know if/whether does he know French.

5. Will they go to Canada in summer ?

（三）时态(时态一致性）

主句用现在时:从句可用任何时态。

主句用过去时:从句可用相应的过去时态。

从句说明的是一般真理、客观事实、自然现象、名言时，仍用现在时。

I know he is a teacher. I know he was a teacher three years ago. I know he has been a teacher for 3 years I know he will be a teacher after graduation. I knew he was a teacher I knew he had been a teacher for 3 years. I knew he would be a teacher after graduation.
