language learning 学情分析：本班学生英语基础较差，接受能力不强；所以需要教师耐心引导。

教学内容分析：本节课主要通过对一些课文中出现的重要词汇的用法做出归纳拓展，并在有限的课堂时间内做相应的课堂练习，目的是要求学生记住这些词汇以及用法。

教学目标：

【要点提炼】

句中be of use是“be of＋抽象名词”结构。

(1)介词of后面接表示抽象意义的名词，如use，importance，help，value，interest，benefit等时，该结构相当“be＋名词所对应的形容词”，这类名词前可用no，some，any，little，much，great等对其进行修饰。

(2)介词of后面还可以接表示人或物的属性的名词，如size，kind，type，price，4/9

height，depth，width，length，weight，age，shape，colour等时，该结构表示不同的人或物具有某种共同特征，在句中作表语或后置定语这类名词前可用a，an，the same，different等修饰。
