Task I. Teaching aims and learning objectives By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

Step 3 Practice 1. The first notice. T: Read the first notice. What information can you find?

(1) What will happen?

(2) When will they have the meeting?

(3) Where will they have the meeting? 2. The rest three notices.

T: Read the other three notices, and talk about where these people can solve their problems.

Step 4Writing 1. Pair work. T: Suppose we are also going to have a “helping hands” meeting. What clubs do we have? We have Beautiful Hair Club, Computer Group and Delicious Kitchen. Now work in pairs and complete the table. 【设计意图：参考书上内容，讨论三个新的俱乐部，为模仿写作做准备。】

2. Make up a dialogue.
