1教学目标

知识目标

1. Learn the words: a pair of scissors, some tape, some glue, and a crown. 2. Review the sentences: a. What do you want to make?

I want to make a crown. b. What does Jill need?

She needs a pair of scissors. 能力目标

通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生复习W h-questions,同时强化一般现在时态在句中的用法,并谈论一些手工制作。

情感目标

培养学生敢说英语,运用语言进行交际的能力。

2学情分析

我所带的小学六年级学生男女人数均衡,学生活泼,可爱。六年级学生相对低年级学生来说,在英语学习方面已有一定的基础。大部分学生已经养成良好的英语学习习惯,但是也存在部分学生对英语缺乏兴趣,在英语学习上缺少耐心和细心,而且有些学生只是为学习而学习,根本谈不上兴趣,总体而言,步入六年级的学生对英语学习的兴趣整体有所下降,两极分化极为严重。具体表现为:学习懒惰,缺乏主动性,积极性,

书写不认真,粗心大意,不愿思考问题,上课开小差,依赖性强等。针对此学情,教师需要在实际教学实践中适时进行学法指导,强化练习。

3重点难点

复习W h-questions和一般现在时态的用法。

4教学过程

活动1【导入】Pre－task preparation.

1:Warm-up Greeting. 2:Let’s chant. 3: Free talk T: What do you want? S1: I want a robot. T: What do you want to do? S1: I want to play a game with my sister. T: What do you want? What do you want to do? (要求答案1和答案2有相关信息) S2: I want a plane. I want to make a model plane. T: Good idea! It’s fun. What do you need for making a model plane?

S2: I need some paper, some crayons, a pair of scissors, some glue... T: Oh! Wonderful! It’s a nice craft. Do you know the craft? Let’s learn the unit 5 together. (板书课题)

(教学新词) 2. Listen and say T: What do they want to do? S: They want to make presents for their families and friends. (首次播放录音,让学生模仿初次跟读并大致理解课文含义) 3. Guess and listen What do they want to make? What do they need? (观看视频,让学生猜测问题。在猜的基础上让学生带着问题再次听音找出正确答案,梳理课文内容) 4. Listen and answer Show a picture 1) What are they doing? 2) What does Jill want to make? Listen! (A crown) 3) Who is it for? (It’s for her little cousin.)
