A>To learn to use the key words and sentences to talk about the positions of things.

B>To learn to do some practice to consolidate the key words and key sentences of Unit 4.

a> key words : in / on / under

b> key sentences : Is it in the desk ? yes ,it is . / No, it is’t .

B>T he difficult points

Try to use the key words and sentences to talk about the positions of things.

Process

Step I warm- up

Let’s sing an English song : Where is my toy car ?【设计意图:课前唱轻松愉快的英文歌曲,活跃了英语课堂气氛,相关歌词为本节课将要上的重点内容做好预知和铺垫。】

Step II Let’s chant

Row,row, row a boat.

Bounce, bounce, bounce a ball.

Drive, drive, drive a car.

Put, put, put on a cap.

Read, read, read a map.

【设计意图:通过TPR活动让同学们在音韵美的节奏中动起来,“活”起来,充分激发和调动起同学们学习英语的兴趣和爱好。】

Step III Start to read

Task 1 Tick or cross

A>Look at the big picture. What can you see ?

B>L et’s read the sentences aloud together.

C>W ork in your small groups : tick or cross.

D>Check the answers with them .

Task 2 Listen and tick

A>look at the pictures and talk about where the thing is.
