Who can be my friend? Do you want a new friend? Try me! I am Robin the robot! I am friendly and funny. I can speak English and Chinese. I can do some kungfu. I can play ping-pong, but I can’t swim.

能读懂简单电子邮件，用I’m.../ I can.../ I can’t介绍他人或自己的特点和能力。

2.

完成活动和任务，理解和正确朗读课文内容。

3.

能掌握并运用本单元重点内容，在理解的基础上交流讨论。

4.

能够参考电子邮件写出三个描述自己会做或者不会做什么的句子。

5.

乐观积极的看待自己的特点和能力，尝试用英语交朋友。

【教学重点】读懂电子邮件完成任务活动。

写出介绍自己会做什么、不会做什么的句子。

【教学难点】课文内容的理解，和从短句到长句的朗读、书写、用词等。

【教学手段】综合越用多媒体教学和实物投影。

【教学步骤】

Step 1. Warm-up

(1)

Introduce myself.

教师运用前三个单元的句型进行自我介绍。

T：Hi, I,m Miss Gao. I’m your English teacher for this class. I am very kind and clever. I can sing English songs and play football and basketball. I like playing games very much. Do you like playing games? Ss: Yes. T：Now, shall we play a game before the class. OK? (2)

Play a game.

教师选取一名学生上前，悄悄告诉学生一个句子，比如：I can do some kungfu. 或者

I am very strict.学生听到后向全班同学表演，让其他人猜。猜出之后，教师问全班学生：What can you do?/ What he/ she like? 全班一起回答I can.../ He/ she is ...。

（老师通过自我介绍先吸引学生的注意力，同时引出本单元句型，为以下学习做铺垫。由play a game完成单元前几课时的复习和巩固，在说说做做中活跃课堂气氛。）

Step 2. Lead-in

(1)

My Friend.

教师先展示Wu Yifan和Oliver、

Zhang Peng和Mike、Chen Jie和Sarah的

图片。

T：All of us have a good friend, like Wu Yifan and Oliver、

Zhang Peng and Mike、Chen Jie and Sarah. They can go to school together. They can do homework together. And they can play together. Now I want show you my best friend. Her name is Jessica. She is very kind and clever. She can play the guitar. She can sing and dance very well. Do you have a good friend? I want to know who is he/ she? What’s he/ she like? And what can he/ she do? Who wants to say something about your good friend? 请2-3名同学对自己的好朋友进行介绍。

New Friend.

T: I have a friend and you know him. (Show the picture of Robin) Who is he? Ss: He is Robin. T: Yes. And he is not happy now. Because he want a new friend. Do you want to be his new friend? Ss: Yes. T: OK! Let’s see what do you know about Robin?

S1: He is very clever. He can .... S2: He is very helpful at home. ...... （设疑导入新课，看图讨论，读前预测文本信息，建立阅读兴趣。）

Step 3. Presentation and practice (1)

First reading.

T：You really know him. But he can do more things. Do you want to know more about him? Ss: Yes. T: Now, please open your book and turn to page 43. Let’s read the email he wrote and find what can Robin do? Please take out your pen and ruler, you can underline the answers. If you have questions, you can ask me or your classmates. （猜测之后给学生时间初读课文，要求速度快，带着问题读What can Robin do?找出描述Robin的句子并回答问题。）

Second reading.

T：Robin can do many things. Here, I have a question for you: can Robin do everything?

Ss: NO. T: And do you know what dose he think of himself? Let’s read it again.

学生完成第二遍朗读课文，找到Robin不能做的事情和对自己的看法。

T: Now, we know Robin very well. So, before you are his friend, I have some sentences for you. Let’s check if you can remember what can he do. Now, please close your book and let’s answer it together.

学生直接回答判断问题。

First listening. T: You are really clever. I think you are like a Robot. Are you a Robot? Ss: NO. T: Of course you are not a Robot. But can you read like a Robot.

Ss: Yes. T: Yes? OK. Let’s listen first. And I want you to pay attention to your intonation and pronunciation. Please open your book. 学生听完录音后与小组练习Robin的说法方式，然后小组模仿熟读课文。

Retell the email. T: Now, you have finished learning. Who wants to say something about Robin? The picture and the blackboard can both help you. （学生通过速读，获取问题相关信息，从而分析语篇；通过精读，找出语篇中的关键词句，完成练习。在训练阅读策略和阅读技巧中，学会阅读语篇。）

Step 4.Production (1)

Discuss.

T: Robin is good. He is wonderful. So, do you want to be his friend? Ss: Yes. T: And now, if you want to be his friend, you should write an email to Robin, tell him what are you like and what can you do.Please discuss what are you like and what can you do in your group before you write. If you have questions you can ask me or classmates. OK? (2)

Write. T: And I want to be Robin’s friend, too. So I write an email to Robin.

学生写作前教师给出范例，找学生读一遍，然后学生再将小组讨论的问题答案写下来。

Show. 学生写完后让学生上前，利用实物投影展示自己的写作，教师作出评价。

(4)

Others. 教师展示更多学生比较熟悉的卡通人物，并以和他们交朋友为目标，简单说一说自己要发的邮件的内容。

Step 5.Conclusion All of you can do many thing. You are very clever.

And I wish you can do the same things with others and make more and more friends. You will have fun together.

你们很聪明,能够做许多事情。我希望你能和许多人有共同的兴趣爱好并以此结交更多的好朋友。

Step 6.Homework (1)

Listen and recite the email we have learned today. (2)

Send an email to other cartoons,tell them you want a new friend and introduce yourself.
