一、教学目标

1. 能听、说、认读,会写单词 forest, hill, river, mountain, lake；

2. 能够在情景中运用以上词汇介绍公园情况，适时运用Is there a ...?进行对话。 二、制定依据

教材分析：第六单元主要学习there be句型的一般疑问句以及它的肯定回答和否定回答。课本第五单元的学习内容是there be句型的肯定表达。本节课作为第一课时，主要学习一些与自然有关的事物名称的名词，教材通过John和陈洁谈论自然公园地图的情景呈现了lake, mountain, hill, forest,river五个新单词的词形和意义。

学情分析：学生在第五单元时已经学会了用there is/are...来表述某个房间里有什么物品，其中3、4个学生能在具体情境中用Is there a...对房间内不确定的物品进行发问，大部分学生只会用There be句型的肯定表达进行某处有某物的描述；学生对于有关自然名称的名词掌握不多，在三四年级学过一些简单的动物类，如tiger、monkey、elephant、cat等，对自然界的事物名称用英语表达没有基础，因此本节课的重点将放在单词的听、说、读、认上。
