Unit 5 Signs（Story time）

一、教学内容:Story time 二、教学目标: 1.知识目标：

（1）能正确地听、说、读、写词汇sign, shopping centre, careful, mean. （2）能正确听、说、读词汇litter, go in, take, restaurant, someone, smoke, smell. （3）能灵活运用日常交际用语和句型What does it mean? It means…

No littering/parking/smoking/eating or drinking. Danger! Wet floor.与他人进行日常交流。

2.技能目标：

能够运用所学日常交际用语和句型，向他人询问介绍公共标志意义。

3.情感态度目标：培养学生积极参与、乐于表达的学习情感，并结合社会公德，当看到他人做与公共标志所指不符的事情时，能及时进行劝说和制止。

三、教学重难点: 1.

在教师设计的教学活动的引领下能够整体理解语篇，提高学生的阅读能力。

2.

能在现实生活中比较自如地运用本单元日常交际用语和句型与他人进行交流。

3.

较熟悉地掌握公共标志的英文表达。

四、教学准备：课文图片，标识图片，课件

五、教学过程：

Step1 Warming up At first, let’s play a game. Rules, if you see a word or a picture, read it. If you see this, say no, no, no. Are you ready? Let’s start! Step2 Presentation 1.短语No eating or drinking T: (教师出示吃的图片) look, the boy is eating. T: (教师出示禁止的图片叠加在男孩身上)What is this?引出短语No eating。

(同上)教师出示短语No drinking。

（教师出示图片No eating or drinking），让学生尝试说出短语，并进行教授。

2.短语No smoking T: （教师出示吸烟的图片），This picture showed us a word smoke.（教授单词smoke）

（出示单词smoking）让学生尝试读出单词，最后出示禁止标志，学生自己说出 No smoking。

3.短语No littering 教师出示图引出单词litter并教授，然后出示禁止标志，让学生说出No littering.

4.单词signs，短语Wet floor T: Look at these pictures , we know they’re signs. Today we’ll learn Unit5 Signs. T: Look at this sign carefully, there is some water on the floor,(教授floor)， so the floor is wet.（教授wet）。Now fill in the blanks 5.课文

a. T: （出示课文4幅图片）Look at the pictures, who are talking about these signs? And where are they talking about the signs? Watch the cartoon. b. T: Let’s match the signs with the places. c. T: What does the sign mean?（教授单词mean及句子what does the sign mean?）

d. T: Now we know the four signs are in these places, let’s go with them one by one, and find out what does the sign mean? e. 学习Picture1，教师出示文本，回答问题

T: Can you try to read the sentences by yourselves? T: Can you try to read the sentence which I show you? T: Read the text after the tape. f. 学习Picture2，教师让学生观看第二幅图的卡通2遍，回答问题。

T: Let’s read the text together, then read the text in roles. g. 学习Picture3，self-learning，回答问题。

T: There are some suggestions for you. 1.Read in pairs. 2.Choose. 3.Answer the question, why can’t Helen take her juice into the bookshop? 4.Check the answer. Can you see that sign? It means you can’t eat or drink there. h. 学习Picture4，听录音，回答问题。

T: Now they are eating some noodles in a restaurant. What does the sign in the restaurant mean? Can you guess? T: Who is smoking in the restaurant? Step3 Consolidation 1. T：Now，let’s enjoy the whole story. 2. T: Make a sentence.（每幅图片的内容用一句话概括）

3. T: （教师出示其他标志）We know there are many other signs in our daily life, which one do you know? Do you know what does it mean? 4. T: We know signs make our life safer and nicer, but there are some people they don’t obey the rules, let’s look and judge. And you give them some suggestions?（教师出示日常生活中一些不文明现象图片，

在学生给出建议后进行情感教育。）

Step4 Homework

必做:1. Read the dialogue after the tape for 3 times. 2. Finish the exercise in P50. 选做:Find more signs on the Internet.Draw 1-2 and try to figure out their meanings.
