Teaching objectives: 1.

Teaching Procedures Step1: Warming-up

4 minutes Designing aims 通过讲故事自由谈话直接导入主题，在激起学生听课兴趣的同时，呈现部分与文章相关的词汇和内容，为后续的文章讲解和理解做好相应的铺垫。

训练的学生的速读技巧，从整体把握文章，从而对文章主题能有快速而全面的理解。

利用多种形式，提升学生对于文本的深层次理解，激发学生的批判性思维。同时，让学生“活动”起来以保持学生的学习积极性。在此环节，渗透关爱身边小动物的教育。

Make up a story called “Jimmy’s story”, try to prensent some main new words and phrases to the students. Step2: Fast-reading 1)

Ask the students to skim the passage freely, and find out 2)

and ‘what ghost’;

Scan the passage, divide the passage into three parts, match the main meanign of each part.

Step3: Careful reading

Tell the students to read the passage by themselves, after reading the passage, do some T or F questions; 2)

Read the passage with tape, and answer more questions and exercises about the passage.

Finish Ex B4 on Page 60; 2)

Try to retell the passage with the help of the pictures 结合书本练习，加深学生对文章的理解。鼓励学生在图片的提示下，尝试着将文章复述出来，为后续的仿写打下基础。
