Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing 一、教学目标：

1. 知识目标

（1）、使学生掌握（包括正确地说、读、写、用）单词：

men, women, children, people, hotel. （2）、

使学生通过练习句子： This is a ___. These are ___. 复习所学过的一些单词 that, those 及名词的复数。

2.能力目标

（1）能熟练掌握和识记本课单词：men, women, children, people, hotel （2）能灵活运用现在进行时，对身边的人物进行描述

3.情感目标

培养学生良好的文化意识和英语语感

二、教材分析

教学内容：本课是冀教版（三年级起始版）五年级下册第七课。

内容分析：本课涉及到了一些复杂的可数名词单数变复数的词汇，在教学中应该注意帮助学生进行归类总结，形成比较清晰的概念。 教学重点：掌握单词men, women, children, people, hotel. 教学难点：能利用本课所学知识结合实际活动情况进行情感交际练习

TPR教学法，情景交际法、观察法、多采取任务型教学等。

五、教学过程

Step 1:Class opening and review 1. Greeting: T: Hello! Boys and girls! How are you? I’m very happy to see you. Are you happy?

（设计意图：上课伊始，教师与学生自然的问候可以使学生快速融入英语学习氛围，同时为下一步教学做铺垫。）

2.I bring a song for you .Ok, listen(教师和学生一起唱,并做动作) （设计意图：

利用歌曲激发学生的学习兴趣，激活学生原有的知识为学习新知识做必要的准备）

Review some phrases: play cards, read a book, draw a picture, jump, play basketball, fly a kite叫学生看卡片猜短语,为下面的学习做铺垫。

Step 2:leading in: Show picture of Beijing west station, and ask: T:Our friends Liming ,Danny .Jenny and Mrs. Li will go to Beijing. look at the picture, Where are they? Ss: They are at the Beijing West Station. T:yes, they are arriving in Beijing.(板书课题) Talk about Beijing T:Beijing is the capital city. Did you go to Beijing ?

What do you know about Beijing ? Let’ talk !(展示图片

两人一组说一说北京) （这样既练习了以前学过的知识也为下面几课的学习打下了基础，学生不觉得困难）

Step3:Present teaching aims of this class. Step4:New concepts Show pictures of child, children, woman, women, man, men, people.(让学生看图片学习新单词,并通过句型:What is _________doing? what are_______doing?来练习现在进行时.)让学生在分组读,打节拍读,开火车式读的过程中掌握人称名词单复数的变化,并利用Chant总结这些名词的变化和使用方法

play guess game.教师暗示学生,利用道具让学生表演课文中的动作,其他同学大声说出来.练习课文句子：She/He is.... , They are.... Step 5:Listen to the tape and answer the questions.(听录音回答问题) 展示答案，纠正错。略讲hotel ,Tai Chi的读法

Step 6:Read the text and Tick or Cross.(先让学生自读课文，然后播放课文flash，让学生跟读，在熟读课文的基础上，抽叫学生完成对错习题，并说出答案。然后核对纠错）

Step7: Practice

1.Look and match 利用图片检查掌握情况。
