教材分析：本课是五年级下册第5课的内容，主题文本语量适合五年级学生学***，而以对话的形式来编写，又给学生提供了模仿交际的范本，让学生在情景中理解语言，学习语言，以提高学生的语言运用能力。通过听、说、读、看、写五方面来提高学生的综合能力。

学情分析：本课的教学对象是小学五年级的学生。他们从三年级开始学习英语，通过前几节课的学习，学生已经掌握了现在进行时描述事情的能力，且有一些英语基础知识，具备了一定的语言组织能力，让学生自然生成写的内容很自然。

教学目标：

1. 在语境中练习有关现在进行时的句子，能听懂、会说、认读reading the newspaper，playing cards，playing with the baby，drawing, eating, reading, singing, swimming.掌握动词的现在分词基本变化规则。

2. 能运用现在进行时态句型进行简单的交流：What are they/we/you doing? They/We/You are doing sth. What is he/she doing? He/She is doing sth. etc.并能根据人称使用正确的系动词。

3、学生初步感知和体会单词读音的重音。

教学重点：能运用现在子进行时态句型进行简单的交流

教学难点：人称与系动词的正确搭配。

教学准备：单词卡、课件等

教学过程：

Step 1 warm up

Greeting

T:Hello ,boys and girls. Ss: Hello , teacher. T:Nice to meet you ! Ss:Nice to meet you,too. Step2 Review T:First ,let’s have a review.Let’s look at some pictures.

用同样的方式看图问答。

设计意图：通过问答的形式复习现在进行时的句型，为本课的学习打下基础。同时，让学生能回答问题，并能提出问题。

Step3 New concept T：

We have known Danny ,Jenny and Liming are on the train.What do they see? Ss:People。

T：Yes,they see some people on the train.

What are they doing now ?This lesson we will have a look. I’ll play the video later.I have some question for you .

1）What is the woman doing? 2）Who is playing? 3）What is Danny doing? Listen carefully.then answer them,OK? 1.

T：

Now I have another piacure .Talk about it,then write it down. 通过听、说、读、看一系列的练习，自然过度到写，让学生有个全面的练习。
