Super Stars

There are three Super Stars. They are Danny, Jack and Peter.

Danny is ‘Learning Star’. His favourite subjects are Maths, English and Chinese. Because he can count and add in Maths class. And he can read and write in Chinese and English classes. They are useful.

Jack is ‘Art Star’. His favourite subjects are Art and Music. Because he can draw and paint in Art class. And he can sing and dance in Music class. They are interesting.

Peter is both ‘IT Star’

and 'Sports Star'. His favourite subjects are IT and PE.

He can play and chat in IT class. And he can run and jump in PE class. They are fun.

They are all super.

At school we learn things every day, In English class new words we say. At school we count from one to ten, In Maths we add, then add again. 3

At school we like to paint and draw, In Art the pretty things we saw. At school we play and jump and run, In PE class we have great fun.

At school we sing songs with joy, In Music beautiful sounds we enjoy. At school we can play and chat, In IT class we surf the Internet. At school we often write and read, In Chinese interesting stories we heard.

教案说明

本节课是牛津英语5B Module2 Unit3 School subjects的第一课时,通过单元统整,确立本课时话题为:My favourite subject。主要目标是让学生们在语境中了解学校不同的subjects,帮助学生能够初步描述自己最喜爱的学科及其理由。

一、语境带动语言学习

围绕本课时的教学目标和主题,创设了Kitty采访学校中不同super star的语境。将学生们带入这一语境中,在语境下进行核心词汇和句型的学习,能够很好地调动学生学习的主动性和积极性。同时,在教学环节中,我尝试让学生唱英文歌曲,欣赏配乐诗,阅读报纸等活动营造愉快和谐的英语学习氛围,激发学生的学习兴趣

二、语境带动情感体验

学生们通过Kitty 采访的进行,能够了解到不同人对于不同学科的热爱,联系自身,思考自己喜爱的科目以及理由。通过核心句型的学习和操练,学生们能够进行简单地描述。在描述中,学生们能够体验到不同学科的乐趣,进而激发他们喜爱这些学科的情感。
