一、教材解析及学情分析

本节课是小学英语五年级上册第十一单元第一课时的内容，它是第四模块The natural world中的第二个话题。第一个话题是Wind，第三个话题是Fire，在这三个话题中，Water占有非常重要的地位。水是生命之源”，我们的生活离不开水，因此水的用途接近学生生活，也是我们这节课讲的主题。

因为学生对水较熟悉，对它的用途了解也很多，之前对于洗脸，洗手这些短语也接触过，所以在此基础上，学生学习起来会比较容易。

二、学习目标

1.知识目标

use,useful,tap,clothes,famer,vegetable六个单词以及两个短语put out fires,grow crops,两个核心句型Where does water come from?It comes from.../How do you use water?We use water to... 2.语言技能目标

听：能听懂关于水的用途的对话。

说：运用句型How do you use water?询问水的用途，运用We use water to...介绍水的用途。

读：熟练朗读课文。

写：能正确书写6个单词，能根据图片提示运用句型We use

water to...写写水的用途。

3.情感目标

（1）能更多的了解水带来的乐趣，以及水的重要性。

（2）能了解水资源的短缺，树立节约用水，保护水资源的理念。

三、重点、难点

掌握use,useful,tap,clothes,famer,vegetable六个单词以及两个短语put out fires,grow crops,会用两个核心句型Where does water come from?It comes from.../How do you use water?We use water to...谈水的来源和用途。

难点是了解更多有关水的内容，以及相关表达。

Step1：Warming up 1.Leading 猜谜语It has no taste. It has no smell. It has no colour. It is everywhere around us. Fire is afraid of it. What is it? 引出课题water. 2.Talking T：Where can you find water?

S1: In the sea. S2: In the river. S3: In the rain .. T：All of you are right. We can also find it in the river, pond, well, pump, and so on. Step2：Presentation and practice 1.Water is everywhere around us.Where does it come from？(listen to the tape) S1: It comes from the tap. S2:It comes from the rain. S3: It comes from the sea. T: Yes, all of you re right. We use water everyday. I think it is very important and useful. How do you use water? S1: We use water to... 2.看动画，找出描写水用途的句子。
