Teaching aims: 1. Students can finish the tasks and understand the story. 2. Students can act out and retell the story. 3.Students can learn to communicate and cooperate with classmates, and improve their interest’s of learning English. Key point: Review the unit and understand the whole story. Difficult point: Students can act out and retell the story. Teaching methods: Task-based method, situational method, TPR method, communicative method. Teaching tools: PPT, some pictures of position word, the headwears of Zoom and Zip. Teaching procedures: Step one: Warming up

Play a game : TPR游戏进行热身

The teacher uses the game to review the words: in, on, under, behind 2. Introduce the rules of the “game” class.

T: Today I invite two friends come here, Zoom and Zip. Do you want to play game with them? Ss: Yes. T: But I put three difficulties for you, each time you pass one, you will get two pieces of the story. When you pass all, you will get the whole story.Are you ready? Ss: Go! T: At first, let’s sing a song.

3. Sing the song Where is my toy car? Step two: Review Round one: In unit four, we have learnt so many words. Now look at the pictures and say out the word. 1. T presents the pictures and point the Ss to say the words. 2. Pass it and give the two pieces of story. Round two:

In the pictures, there are many things. On the right, there are ten words. Now, tick out the word that you can find in the picture. 1. Ss come infront and tick the words. 2. Pass it and give the two pieces of story. Round three: Look at the four pictures carefully, then listen to the tape and find out the right answers. 1. T guides the Ss say out the right positions: Where is the boat/cap/car/ball? 2. Listen twice and write down the answers. 3. Check the answers and repeat the dialogue. Step three: Presention Zoom and Zip are playing a game, let’s have a look.

1. Watch the flash, Guess the game that they are playing in the text (猜测课文中人物玩的什么游戏?) The teacher gives the students the first question: What game is it? 2. Watch again, find out where is the Zip? 3. Listen to the story with PPT and find the answer.(听,看故事,找出问题的答案)

A:The students listen to the story carefully and get the outline of the story. Play hide and seek and make the students understand the meaning of “hide and seek” further. 4. Ss read the whole story by themselves. 5. Act the story. A. Give a model The teacher shows the students how to act the story. B. Talk in groups The students try to act the story in groups. 6. 根据所学,自编歌谣。
