II、Analysis of the students: 本单元是人教版新目标英语七年级上册第九单元,也是最后一个单元。主要围绕“School subjects”这个话题展开讨论,并懂得询问和回答最喜欢的学科和喜欢的原因,以及星期的表达。学生学过了八个单元的新目标英语,对整个课程的教学模式有了一定的了解,具备一定的听、说、读、写的基础。对于特殊疑问句的句型和相关的形容词及日期的表达已经有所接触,为本单元的学科和星期的表达打下了基础。通过本单元的进一步学习,使学生能够更加熟练地运用目标语言进行交际活动。

Play a video Days of the week: What is the video about? It is about the days of a week. How many days are there in a week? Seven. Then fill in the blanks. Step 8 Teaching reflection:

学生在前面的课时里已经学习了新词汇和新句型，有了一定的知识基础。这节课主要是强化这些知识，并让学生把这些知识运用到日常生活的表达中。本课时主要是通过听力理解来让学生进一步巩固这部分基础知识，在具体语境中锻炼听力理解能力。听完本节材料后，学生还将与同伴进行讨论，谈谈自己最喜欢的学科，可以使学生之间互相了解，增进同学之间的感情。课堂设置活动多为学生之间的交流互动。这是学生情感态度与价值观的培养，还可以帮助学生发现自己最喜欢和最擅长的学科，引导其进一步学习。

但由于本节课的内容并不多，新知识很少，可能导致部分比较优秀的同学的求知欲得不到满足。
