学生情况分析:

五(3)班学生学习习惯良好,对英语学习较感兴趣,有着较强的求知欲和表现欲。在经过了四年多的英语学习后,学生有了一定的语言积累,具备了一定的听说读写的能力。在学习本单元之前,学生能较熟练地运用如There be/ To be/ To have等句型描述事物的性状及事件的发生。还初步接触了一般过去时这一时态,掌握了部分动词的过去式变化。

模块教学任务分析:

5BM3的学习主题为Things around us。本模块涉及到词汇包括日常生活中常见的一些标记(如telephone, toilet, restaurant, exit, entrance等),描述天气的单词(如cloud, cloudy, sun, sunny, rain, rainy, wind, windy, snow, snowy, storm, stormy, fog, foggy等),能用degree来描述某天的气温,以及日常生活中的常用家具(如cupboard, bookshelf, bed, mirror, lamp, cushion, sofa等)。本模块涉及到的句型包括用What does this sign say? It says ... What does this sign mean? It means ... 对一些标记进行简单的介绍,用What is / was the temperature? 询问某日的气温并能进行相应的回答等。本模块的时态主要是进一步复习和巩固一般过去时和一些情态动词(如can, must, should等)的用法。

在学习本模块之前学生已经会用Don’t... , You can’t / mustn’t / shouldn’t ...向他人发出指令,能用What’s the w eather like? 来询问天气,能用一些动词的过去分词描述事物之前的状态。这些都是学习本模块内容的基础和前提。

本模块从身边的事物为出发点,以“标记”,“天气”和“变化”为话题展开学习内容,不仅注意到了新旧知识的有机整合,而且对学生的语言能力提出了更高的要求,进一步从听说读能力的培养转向听、说、读、写、练、用的全面兼顾。

单元教学任务分析:

第三单元以“变化”为话题,要求学生能掌握表示家具的相关单词(如cupboard, bookshelf, lamp等);能用相关的句型进行相互问答(如:What’s different? The chair was under the window. Now it’s near the sofa.);能运用如There be/ To be/ To have等句型描述我们所生活的城市---新上海和老上海的变化。经过这一单元学习引导学生能学会细心观察生活周围事物的变化,以及感受这些变化给生活带来的乐趣和便捷。

第三课时:Say and act (A surprise), Listen and enjoy

第四课时:Look and read (Changes in Shanghai)

第五课时:Learn the sounds and revision

第四课时教学目标:

1.理解词汇Shanghai History Museum, village, fishermen, later, town, from other places, from oher countries, modern等

2.通过捕捉语篇的关键信息来聆听、阅读和理解上海的变迁

3.通过捕捉语篇的关键信息结合本单元的核心句型(there be句型)来描述上海的变迁

Shanghai History Museum

The Shanghai History Museum tells the story of Shanghai. You can see many old houses, old boats and many other old things. There are also a lot of photos of old Shanghai.

A small village

Many years ago, Shanghai was a small village. Not many people lived here. Many of them were fishermen and farmers. There were small houses, boats and roads in Shanghai. There were some shops and restaurants in Shanghai.

A big town

Later, people from other places came to Shanghai and it became a big town. There were big houses, boats and roads in Shanghai. There were many shops and restaurants in Shanghai.
