How are you?

一、教学目标

1.能听懂,会说新单词“fine, well”.

2.能掌握课文大意。

3.能运用句型:How are you? I’m fine. / I’m not very well.

二、教学重点与难点

重点:运用“How are you?”进行问候,并用“I’m fine, thank you. \ I’m not very well.”做出回应。

难点:“You are kind.”的含义和用法

三、教学步骤

Step 1 Warming up.

T: Let’s sing a song “ Who are you?”

S: Sing the song together.

Step 2 Presentation.

1. T: Good morning, Lucy, how are you?

L: I’m fine, thank you. How are you?

T: I’m fine, thank you. (板书并教授对话“How are you? I’m fine, thank you./ I’m not very well.

2. Play Chain Game

S1:How are you?

S2: I’m fine, tha nk you. How are you?

S3: I’m fine. / I’m not very well.

3. Listen and repeat Part A.

4. Let’s act Part A.

Step 3 Consolidation.

创设情景,自由会话。

情景:周末在路上遇见朋友或熟人,相互问候。

S1:Hello! How are you?

S2: I’m fine, thank you. How are you?

S3: I’m fine, too. / I’m not ver y well.

家庭作业:1.Read the text of Unit 5.

2.Listen to the tape at least 30 minutes.
