Student Analysis学生分析: 从心理学的角度来讲,六年级学生活泼好动,好奇心重,求知欲强,喜欢各种形式的课堂活动,敢于开口,善于合作,乐于表演.这一阶段的学生,思维能力、分析能力和理解能力在不断提高。学生能够主动与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,能够积极地调动各种器官参与课堂教学各项活动,能够注意观察生活中与所学的内容相关的事物,主动将英语知识运用到日常生活中。从教学角度来讲,小学英语教学的关键不是把语言知识塞进学生脑子里,而主要是通过把听、说、读、写融入教学游戏中来激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生自然地产生一种娃娃学话一样的渴望去追求英语,使学生获得一些感性认识,并且养成良好的学习习惯。
Contents Analysis教学内容分析: 本节课是粤人社2011课标版六年级下册第一单元A Parade Day第一课时(故事教学),这个故事讲述的是主人公Gogo, Jenny and Tony观看完parade后和几个人的对话。这个故事联系生活,再加上故事有趣的配音,学生很喜欢这个有趣的故事。本故事涉及的话题parade,本节课通过视频图片学习在故事学习前让学生先掌握。而对于本故事中涉及的一般过去时,则通过chant可以有趣地解决。

Watch a video about a parade. 2.
Know about the parade. 【设计意图:观看关于parade的视频来引出parade,并学习parade,从而导出本课课题,为后面故事学习做好铺垫】
Step 2 While-story 1.
Listen and choose: The story is about______. A. the birthday party / B. the parade. 【设计意图:通过listen and choose这个环节来让学生整体感知故事,了解故事大意,同时也训练了学生听的能力。】

Watch and answer: When did the story happen? 【设计意图:通过watch and answer这个环节来让学生再次整体感知故事,并了解故事发生的时间。同时观看故事视频也给了学生视觉和听觉上的冲击。】
3.
Read and explain. (1)
Read the sentences one by one. 【设计意图:经过前面几个环节,学生已经能很好地掌握parade,所以学生能很好地朗读故事前三句。】

Learn the sentence “What did you do in the parade?”and read the sentence in groups. 【设计意图:What did you do in the parade?这个句子对于学生来说有点难度,通过小组竞赛读的形式降低难度并消除学生的畏难情绪。】

Learn the word “
trumpet”: Listen , look and say. (4)
Learn and read the sentences “
I played the trumpet.”
“I played the drum.”

Let’s chant.
【设计意图:通过chant来学习What did you do? I played the trumpet. I played the drum.这几个句子,增加学习的趣味性。】

Learn and read the sentence “What did you do in the parade?”. 【设计意图:通过前面小组竞赛读的形式,学生已经基本能读好这个句子,这时请学生一个个读可以加深学生的记忆。】

Learn and read the sentence “We sang and danced”. 【设计意图:六年级的学生对于sing和dance非常熟悉,告诉他们The word “sang”
is from the word “sing”. The word “danced”
is from the word “dance”,他们就能很好地掌握这句话。】

Learn the sentence “
What did you do, Gogo?”
and try to imitate.
【设计意图:故事中小丑这句话读得非常有意思,让学生试着去模仿,一是为了增加故事学习的趣味性,二是符合课标要求。】

Learn and read the sentence “
I ran after the parade and watched?”. 4.

Match the phrases with the pictures and answer.
【设计意图:通过词组和图片配对来让学生记住故事细节,再设计回答问题这个环节是为了让学生实现重词组记忆到句子记忆的转变,从而掌握故事细节,并解决重难点。】
Step 3 Post- story 1.
Make a dubbing for the story in roles and in groups.
【设计意图:教师播放带有背景音乐的故事视频,每个小组一个故事角色跟着故事视频为故事配音,增加故事学习的趣味性,也进一步让学生理解掌握故事。】

Role- play. 【设计意图:让学生小组内分角色表演故事,既增加了故事教学的趣味性,也加深了对于故事的理解和掌握,同时也符合小学六年级学生敢于开口、善于合作、乐于表演的心理特征。】
3.
Retell the story.
【设计意图:让学生通过根据图片完成句子的形式来复述故事可以帮助学生加深对故事整体内容的理解和加强对语言的运用,利于学生形成英语思维和表达的能力。】
Step 4 Extension 1.
Know about the parades in Zhongshan. 2.
Know about the parade in Brazil. 【设计意图:让学生了解更多的parade,并点题。】
Step 5 Homework 1.
Surf the Internet and find more parades in the world. 2.
Tell the story to your friends or your family 【设计意图:这个故事是关于parade的,让学生去查找更多的parade,是为了让学生了解各国的parade,从而了解中西文化差异。】
