Unit 4 What can you do? PartC Story time 教学设计

教学目标：

1、词汇： rat, snake, tasty, lake, silly, away；

2、句型：基础句型What can you do? I can... Can you...? Yes, I can. / No, I can't. 拓展句型I can ... for you. There's a... Don't...

3、能够理解并朗读故事，并能在教师的帮助下表演故事。

4、运用本单元所学核心语言讲述趣味故事，引起学生学习英语的兴趣，扩大学生阅读量。

教学重点：

使学生在相对真实、完整的语境中接触、体验、理解语言；

教学难点：

1、能够在图片和情景的帮助下，引导学生去讲故事；

2、引导学生观察故事中主人翁和所处的环境。

教学准备：

多媒体课件，PPT, flash动画，词卡。

教学过程：

StepⅠ Warm-up

1. Free talk. T:We will have a Christmas party next Monday. What can you do for the party? S:I can…

2、Teacher sings a song,students guess what can teacher do for the party?

Step Ⅱ Pre-reading Lead in 1、T：I can read books, can you read story books?Today I will share an English story with you.Let’s begin. 2、Teacher shows a picture,students guess where is it? Step Ⅲ While-reading 1、根据图片一出示本故事主人公：snake and rat

2、提出问题：What can the rat do for the snake?学生观看视频，回答问题。

3、学生试着跟读故事前五张图片内容。

4、教师提出问题：Will the snake throw the rat into the lake?学生观看故事结局，回答问题。

5、学生思考：The rat can swim, but why did the rat say:“Don’t throw me into the lake , please! ”

6、教师总结：When you are in danger,be clever,learn to save yourself.

Step Ⅳ After-reading

1、Task1:put the pictures into right order. 2、Task2:tick or cross. 3、Retell the story. 4、To continue the story 5、Show time: act out the story with partner.

Step V Summary (Emotional) 1、T:What have you learned from the story? 2、Learning is great fun. Step Vl:Homework 1、Read and act out the story.
