The analysis of the teaching contents:

The topic of this unit is “happy birthday”. Such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is helpful to raise the Ss' learning interests. This section is the last part of this unit. If the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss understand the topic of whole unit。

The analysis of the students:

The students in Grade 3 have learned English for only a few mouths. They are active and lovely. They have strong interest and confidence in studying English now. Teaching aims and demands: A. Ability aims:

1. Ss can develop the ability of listening and speaking.

Ss can develop the ability of communication.

Ss can develop the ability of cooperation.

B. Knowledge aims:

1. Ss can listen, say and recognize the new words and phrases.

2. Ss can understand the sentence patterns and use them in the real situation.

C. Emotional aims: 1. Ss can love English learning and have the confidence to say

English.

2. Ss can have the spirit of cooperation.

3. Understand the sentence and express the blessing: happy birthday to someone when have a birthday.

4. Get familiar with the text. Learn the song and have interesting in singing the song. Teaching key and difficult points:

Purpose 通过歌曲激发学生的学习兴趣，怀着轻松地心情进入课堂的学习。

ⅡPre-task

Play the PPT; show a picture of a little farm.

Task 1. Let Ss guess what the animals on the farm are。

Ss tell T the animals and words they have learned in English, and use Chinese to tell T those they have not learned.

Task 2.brainstorm Review the words of the last unit: S Learn to understand and say the new sentence patterns.

Show other important words by presenting different pictures. Read the words after the teacher for several times, and then choose some single pupils to stand up and read the words Ask Ss to make their own dialogs in pairs according to the video by using the new sentence patterns.
