（why）本文旨在帮助学生简要了解西方的艺术流派，学会欣赏国外的优秀文化，拓宽国际视野，获得艺术上的审美体验。并以此，帮助学生欣赏和弘扬中国优秀传统文化。

（how）本文以小标题形式，运用线索法来展开全文。文章分两条线索：明线是时间，通过小标题标明的时间段，能比较容易地划分文章结构。但全文以总-分形式将影响流派形成的原因嵌入到每个部分中，因此，学生仍需分析背后的暗线——时代变革，参想画风变换的真正原因，进一步帮助学生梳理文章脉络，深层剖析文章结构。

【学情分析】

Students know little about western painting and lack knowledge of social background; otherwise, there are many professional words difficult to understand.Students should be well prepared for reading. 二、教学目标

Students are expected to be able to: 1.Grasp the main idea by drawing a time line after scanning. 2.Find the themes and features of the 4 styles and predict the styles in the future and analyze the texture by reading carefully and further; appreciate the painting styles. 3.Retell the text and express your own thoughts in the situation. 三、教学重难点

Important points: How to help students to learn about the social changes and features of the 4 styles to improve their ability of appreciating. Difficult points: How to guide students to cultivate their ability of critical thinking to analyze and express themselves logically and fluently. 【评价任务】

1.通过提问，正确画出时间轴，检测目标1的完成情况；

2.通过独立完成和小组合作，完成相应题目，检测目标2的完成情况；

3.通过提问、复述和情境设置，总结全文，表达自己对画作的理解，检测目标3的完成情况；

Step1: leading-in

Set a situation. Suppose that students will visit a gallery and appreciate some western paintings. (Aims: set a situation to attract students’ interest to lead the text and students can learn
