I．教材分析(Teaching materials analysis) 本单元的中心话题是“发明家与发明”，具体涉及“发明与发现的区别”，“发明产生的过程”和“申请发明专利的条件”。

Learning about language 包括两部分。Vocabulary learning是其中第一部分。这部分首先通过图片设计情景，让学生在真实的语境中使用单词。然后要求学生用所学的单词、短语完成单句语法填空和翻译，并通过掌握本节课的重点单词完成听说训练。进一步训练学生的听和说的能力。

and writing abilities .

Emotion goals：Through the graphic design, students can use words in real context which can amuse their interests in learning English III . Important points Teaching important points：Use what they have learned to finish the blanks ,translation, and listening . Show some pictures to the students and ask them to guess which word in unit 3 can be used to describe the pictures. （通过图片，激发兴趣）

2. Ask the students to read the words together. 3. Finish the lexical expansion and ask several students to write down their answers on the Bb. 4. Use the correct forms to fill in the blanks and ask the students to write down their answers on the Bb. 5. Check their answers . 设计反思：这部分是通过图片猜词进行导入，简洁明了。激发学生学习的积极性。再经过词性拓展扩大学生词汇量。最后通过相关的练习来巩固所学的词汇。

从词到短语，再进一步扩大学生词汇量，提高学习效率。

Step 3. Translation 1. Ask the students to translate the sentences according to the words

2. Ask the students to write down their answers on the Bb. 3.Check their answers. 设计反思：这是本课的重点。学生学了单词，短语，然后再将所学的单词，短语运用到翻译句子中。达到学以致用的目的。

Step 4. Listening

1. The students will hear a piece of passage twice that is involved with the words they have just learned. 2.The students need to answer five questions according to the listening materials

4.Ask the students to imitate the listening 设计反思：

这部分既是重点也是难点。所给出的听说材料已经融入了本节课新学的单词和短语。结合预警语境教学。对于本班的学生来说，听和说是最困难的事情。因此我在前面做了大量的铺垫，让学生化难为简。增强学生的自信心。

教学反思：

本课时主要是词汇教学。整节课设计的内容是根据本班学生的英语基础来设计的。首先通过生动的图片进行导入。让学生猜词，吸引学生的注意力，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。其次通过多种形式的练习，让学生熟练掌握本单元的单词和短语。最后我编辑一份听说材料，材料里面包含了本节课所学的单词，让学生更容易听懂材料，再设计五个问题让学生回答。目的训练了学生的听说读写能力，与高考接轨。本节课不足的地方就是时间把握得不是很好。最后导致听说训练的讲解有点仓促。有个别同学还不能很好听懂听力材料。通过本课的公开教学，我深有感触，教学永远是一门无止境的艺术，无论怎样构思教学，总需要我们进一步改进的地方，因此，备好课绝不是一句空话，它需要我们充分了解教材，了解学生，需要我们踏踏实实地考虑好每一环节，这样每一节课才会是高效率的。
