I. Warm-up Show a video of heroes , for example:Wang Erxiao, Liu Yang, Yang Liwei Questions: I like watching films. Do you like watching films?
S: Yes.
Q: Ok, now let’s look and there are some people. Please remember their names. Q: Who are they?
S: They are Wang Erxiao…
Q: How is Wang Erxiao
S: He is very brave. …
Q: They are brave, clever, famous and great, so they are heroes. Learn the words: heroes and show it on the board. II. Presentation 1. Finsh 1b. Q: There are four children. Who are they? S: They are Bill, Chen Zihan, Sally and Li Yu. (Show on the board.) Q: What are they doing?

After checking and show them on board, watch a video and know what’s the differences between rice and hybrid rice.
The same method to check the answer of Sally’s and Li Yu’s heroes.
Say something in English and let Ss know the meaning of the sentences: Never give up hope: When she met some difficulties, she was not afraid of 2
them. She kept on writing and writing . At last she became a writer. See the good in everything: She always smiled to face the difficulties and everything. III. Practise 1. Read the passages with love.
a. Read after the tape.
b. Choose some groups to read emotionally. 2. Retell the passages
Look at the phrases on board, try to retell the four passages. IV.Consolidation 1. Guess my heroes.

本节课的教学内容出了语言知识的教授以外,我觉得更重要的是引导学生树立正确的英雄观,什么样的英雄才是真正的英雄,因此在这节课的设计中由观看各种英雄的视频进行导入,引出Hero的话题,接着通过连线搭配以及自由阅读完成表格,让学生通过老师正确的阅读方法的导入,自己阅读并完成相关任务,并在其中穿插语言知识的输入,然后通过有感情的阅读短文,教学
让学生体会对英雄的敬重之情,通过复述四段短文,总结出每个英雄的特征,反思
比如Messi is helpful. Yuan Longping is hard-working. Anne Frank is brave and wise. Mum is good at everything . 这些特质的单词也是为给孩子们后面描述自己的英雄搭建了更大的平台,在复述后,通过观看视频让孩子们了解徐老师的英雄,让学生了解到自己的英雄应该是自己崇拜以及以后想成为的人,接着学生自己描述自己的英雄,最后通过一个视频来对英雄的定义有一个更深刻的理解。
在这节课后,我同样觉得有几点可以有待思考的:
在新单词及词语的理解上,我采取的是英语解释英语的方法,让学生来理解,但是这个方法对于知识结构比较完成,英语水平比较好的学生比较适合,但是对于基础比较差的孩子,应该再思考一下有没有更好的方法。
