教学过程：

I.

Pre-reading 1.

Greeting. T: Boys and girls. How are you today? What’s the weather like today?

学生根据老师的问题进行回答

T: Let’s enjoy some beautiful pictures. （PPT出示各种各样的衣服图片）

Are they beautiful? What are they about? （Clothes）

T: Let’s play a game: Sharp eyes. Please look carefully and read out the words as quickly as you can.（复习前面学过的衣服类单词pants, hat, dress, skirt, coat, sweater, socks, shirt, jacket, shorts等）

设计意图：上课之初用学生学过的语言跟学生进行简单的口语交流，接着利用PPT图片展示漂亮的衣服和有趣的游戏活动，让学生在轻松的课堂氛围中激活跟话题有关的已有知识储备，并获得主题知识，为故事教学做好铺垫。

While reading 1.

读大意，了解背景，获取信息

T: You know many kinds of clothes. Today we’ll read a story about clothes. Let’s look at the picture, who is in the story? (Zoom, Zoom’s parents and Zip.) Let’s say hello to them.

T: The story is about “a funny coat”. Who has a funny coat? Zoom or Zip?（让学生通过默读来解决问题。）

设计意图：引导学生用默读的方式来解决问题，让学生更能集中思考，理解阅读材料的内容，酝酿自己的思想。

2.

读细节，指导策略，读明细节

T: We know Zoom has a funny coat. Look at Zoom’s funny coat. It’s very cool. What’s the funny coat made of?（引导学生阅读图一、二，圈出关键词。）

设计意图：掌握有效的阅读策略是培养学生自主阅读能力的重要条件之一。处理图一、二核心信息，理解故事起因，培养学生抓关键词的能力。

T: Now Zoom has an old T-shirt. How does he make the funny coat? Please read these three pictures and put them in the right order. （在PPT上出示以下三幅图，并且把顺序弄乱，引导学生重新排序。）

T: Good. This is the right order. How does Zoom make the funny coat? There are three steps. Step 1: First, tie these. （板书并学习tie，现场展示）

Step 2: Then what does Zoom do?（板书并学习cut, hole，现场展示）

Step 3: Now what does Zoom do?（板书并学习draw, something，现场展示）

总结制作过程：First, tie these. Then cut holes. Now draw something. 设计意图：阅读故事图三、图四、图五，对funny coat的制作过程有一个完整的认识。通过排序让学生降低学习难度，最后逐图学习。在学习的过程中，处理关键信息，教师现场示范，实时渗透，加深学生对文本内容的理解，体现从不会到会的过程。

T: Zoom wears the funny coat. He’s very happy. Please read the last picture. And tell me: How does Zoom look in the funny coat? What does Zip think Zoom will be?

设计意图：让学生有有感情朗读图六，降低难度，突出重点，体会故事中每个人物的情绪和语气，理解故事的高潮。

T: Now, let’s go back to the story.

出示PPT：补全短文：Zoom has an old T-shirt. First tie these. Then cut holes. Now draw something. Now it’s a funny coat. Zoom wears it. He looks like Zip. Zip thinks Zoom will be a star. 学生补全短文的同时，老师进行板书：

设计意图：通过补全短文和板书引领学生对课文进行整体回顾，从而帮助学生整合新旧知识结构，通过导图的直观性，对新知识加以定向引导，达到实现新知内化和提升思维能力的目的。

III.

Post reading 1.

Retell the story in groups. 设计意图：教师让学生以小组为单位，根据板书中的关键词，提炼文本内容，重组关键信息通过复述的形式再现课文，培养学生的口语表达能力。

学生用First... Then...Now说话。

总结讨论：

T: In this story, Zoom makes a funny coat with an old T-shirt. We can also use our head and our hands. Change old things into new things. 设计意图：教师通过总结故事的主要内容，升华了文本的主题，进行情感教育。
