本模块是了解和学习方位。让学生了解世界和中国的文化，历史，和地理知识。接触外国文化，增强祖国意识。本单元是关于中国地图，了解中国城市，学会认识地图和方位。

本课是一篇简短的阅读课文。介绍中国的首都，介绍北京，广州，苏州，拉萨四个城市，以及四个城市在中国地图所在的具体方位。

听：全体学生能听懂It’ s in the north/ south/ west/ east of China. b.

说：全体学生能说It’ s in the north/ south/ west/ east of ...来表达方位。
