教学目标
1. 语言知识目标
(1) 能听懂、会说、认读单词: fun

(1) 能听懂、会读、理解课文并回答相关问题
(2) 能正确使用所学用语,并在真实场景中运用。

积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流
学情分析
四年级学生活泼,好动,直观能力强,喜欢被老师鼓励、表扬,对周围的事物比较感兴趣,在进行教学设计的时候尽量从他们的生活经验出发,创造良好的教学氛围,激发学生学习英语的求知欲。在口语交际中,培养学生的协作能力及迁移运用英语的能力,让学生在学习中体验快乐和成功。
教学重点
(1) 能听懂、会说、认读、会写单词: fun east west meet o’clock
(2) 能听懂、会说、会运用句子:
Let’s have fun this Saturday.
Let’s meet there. There is a park
next to our school. 教学难点
(1) 能初步理解和运用:in the east of...和in the west of...的方位词组。
(2) 能熟练使用重点句型进行交际用语,并在真实场景中运用。
教学过程
Step1、Warm-up
1. Greetings
T: Good morning to everyone!
S: Good morning to teacher! T: Let’s sing a song. 《I SAW THE MUSICIAN》
(设计意图:通过师生问候和唱歌,带动学生走向多样化课堂。)
2. Ask and answer.(课件出示图片和问题) T: What will he do tomorrow?
S: He will play football. T: What will he do tomorrow?
S:He will play the piano. T: What will he do tomorrow?
S: He will play basketball. T: What will she do tomorrow?
S: She will play the flute. T: What will you do tomorrow?

(设计意图:通过师生问答,帮助学生巩固运用已学句型“What will he / she / you do tomorrow?”,拉近彼此间的距离,同时复习了piano和sport,为本节课的学习埋下铺垫。)
Step2. Presentation and practice.
1. Learn Activity 1
1) Look and ask.(课件出示课文图片,引导学生看图,教师出示问题) T: Look! What are they?
S: They are sheep. T: What will they do?
Let’s have a look.
2) Watch cartoon. Then answer the questions. (以填空形式回答问题) Let’s play the piano / paint a picture / do some sport / do them all. 教师讲解them指的是什么。
3) Listen and repeat. (学生听录音跟读活动1) 4) Read the text by yourself! 2. Learn Activity 2 1) Look and ask.(出示人物图片) ① T: Who are they?

教师把图片贴在黑板上。

③ Listen and imitate Activity 2.模仿跟读课文(教师用点读笔领读) (设计意图:模仿朗读课文的重要意义在于培养学生良好的语音语调和语感。)
领读的过程中学习生词next to, meet, east, west, o’clock, fun.利用课件图片帮助学生理解所学单词,同时板书相应的单词和短语,并贴上相应的图片,然后师生复述板书。
④ Watch cartoon and repeat. (看动画跟读活动⑤ Read the text by yourself. 2) Step 3. Production 1. Read the text. 提问读课文并做出相应的评价。
2. 复述黑板内容。(再现新知)
