1.我会听说读写单词：thousand,hundred, in the wild. 2.我能通过练习句型In the past ,there were many ...,but now there are only....来描述某种动物过去和现在的数量。

3..能读懂关于濒危动物熊猫、华南虎和蓝鲸的介绍。

教学重点：

教学难点：能通过练习句型In the past ,there were many ...,but now there are only....来描述某种动物过去和现在的数量。

教学用具：多媒体

教学过程： Step I Warm-up Play a gussing game.(Show some pictures about animals , appearing quickly ,and ask students to guess what it is )

Step II Look and learn 1.show some ppictures and learn the new words. thousand hundred in the wild 2.Read and learn after the teacher and the recorder . 3.Remember the new words and check . Step III Listen and choose 1.

Play the recorder the first time ,ask students only listen . 2.

Listen and choose the correct answers. ①How many pandas are there in the wild? a Six hundred. b One thousand six hundred. c One thousand and six. ②How many South China tigers are there in the wild? a About twenty. b About thirty. c About forty. ③How many blue whales are there in the wild? a One thousand. b Ten hundred. c Ten thousand.

3.Play yhe recoeder again ,and ask students to check the answers. Step IV Read and complete 1.

Ask students to read the article ,and find out the words that you don’t know.(Then read and learn) 2.

Read again,finish the exercise on page 31. 3.
