一、教学目标

语言知识目标：

谈论过去的事情和状态，对比过去与现在的不同。

全体学生能理解：were, young, beautiful, was, also, then, who, grandparent, old. 运用：They were very young then. But they are very old now.

语言技能目标：

全体学生能听懂会说：They were very young then. But they are very old now.

情感态度价值观：

学习和日常交际中，能初步注意到中英文在谈论过去的事情和情况时的差异，在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合和合作。

教学重点：谈论过去的事情和状态，对比过去与现在的不同。运用：They were very young then. But they are very old now.

教学难点：学生们能在接近真实的生活情境中谈论过去的事情和状态，对比过去与现在的不同。

四、教学流程

(一)热身导入

1. Greetings.

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, Ms Wang.

2. Sing a song: I was fat.

3. Teacher and students describe some pictures together. T: ( 出示一些图片：学生选择形容词来描述这些图片，）

Ss: It’s …

引出It’s old.

T: What’s the meaning “old”? (年代久远的，古老的) 教师出示Lingling的爷爷奶奶的照片

T: They are Lingling’s grandpa and grandma. What are they like? Ss: They are very old. T: So many years ago. They were very young.

揭示课题，板书课题

教师出示蝴蝶和毛毛虫的图片

T: Look at the picture. It’s a butterfly. Is it beautiful? But when it was young. It was a worm. Is it beautiful? Kitty and Bob are talking about the butterfly. Let’s have a look. 教师播放课文动画，学生看动画回答问题。

T: Bob says that …（it was also beautiful then）

(二)任务呈现

T: Butterfly can change.

And everyone can change too. So we are going to talk about changes of people before and now.

(三)课文学习

T: Amy and Lingling are talking about some photos of Lingling’s family. Let’s have a look. Who are they talking about? 教师播放课文动画，学生理解语境，回答问题。

学习单词：grandparents 听音跟读，回答问题

Q1: What were Lingling’s grandparents like then?

Q2: What are they like now?

自读课文，回答问题

Q1: How old was Lingling then?

Q2: What was Lingling like then? Q3: What is Lingling like now. T: Is Lingling naughty now? What do you think about Lingling? 教师引导学生根据板书复述课文。

学生分角色朗读课文。

教学反思（主要问题）：

1、词汇教学方面不够扎实。忽视了词汇教学，课文中出现的单词只是读了、认了，没有针对语音进行教学，没有更多的运用词语。在后面的练习中也没有再次复现。

2、学生的听音读文相对较少，课堂应给孩子更多的时间去多听多读。

3、巩固练习环节，设计的听力材料相对有难度，对语言的操练强度不够。如果把听力练习换成语言输出的操练更好，让孩子多进行语言输出，并不断扩大话轮，会帮助孩子更好的学习语言。

4、整体教学方面，时间安排上前松后紧，导入环节有重复部分。
