【教学目标】

1、知识目标:

(1)学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下,养成按照意群阅读的习惯,读懂对复活节的描述,完成相应的题目。

(2)理解一般将来时的使用,并能写一篇自己的邀请函。

2、技能目标:

(1)在阅读时,养成按意群阅读的习惯,用目标句型和词汇读懂对复活节的描写。

(2)学生能够根据教学内容回答对将要发生的事情的回答。

(3)注意书写规范。

3、情感目标:

感受中西方文化的差异,并树立合理规划活动的意识。

【教学重点】

能够听懂,读懂Read and write 的内容,并能写一篇自已的邀请涵。【教学难点】

能够正确听、说、认读单词和短语,如:holiday, game, roll, look for, chocolate, bunny, RSVP, by.

【教学准备】

教师准备与本课时相关音视频、视频、图片及课件。

【教学过程】

Step 1: Warm up and revision

1. Greeting.

T: Good morning, girls an d boys. I’m your new English teacher today. My name is Adele. This is my Email:237124815@qq.com . Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you too.

2. Enjoy the video: Holiday (带着问题去欣赏:你都看到了哪些熟悉的节日,如Tree Planting Day, birthday, Mid-Autumn Day, Halloween, Christmas and Easter )

3. T: Today I have many beautiful eggs for you. Are they beautiful? Do you want these eggs? OK, you should do the task, then you can get the eggs. (设计意图:通过自我介绍让学生初步感知邮箱地址的读法,设计了欣赏一段有关Holiday的视频,一方面通过复习让学生在轻松愉快的氛围下进入英语课堂,另一方面引入彩蛋给学生逐步渗透复活节的文化, 同时也把评价机制自然地介绍给了学生。)

Step2 Lead-in and presentation

1) Lead-in

T: You did a good job. Now let’s see Wu Yifan, what is he doing? Let’s have a look. He’s designing a poster for Easter! What can you see on Easter holiday?

Ss: eggs, rabbit…

T: They’re Easter eggs. It is the Easter Bunny. Wu Yifan and Oliver are talking about the Easter party. What are they talking about?

Ss:…

(设计意图:通过观看影片来导入复活节,并让学生通过影片中看到的实物来说出Easter eggs和Easter Bunny。)

2) Presentation

①Pre-reading

T: Please finish the “tick or across” after reading the poster in 30 seconds. (设计意图:通过跳读让学生完成书本上的判断题)

②Fast reading

T: Easter holiday is coming. Let’s listen, discuss and answer. When? Why? Where? (设计意图:快速阅读后找出相应答案)

③Careful reading(可小组合作完成)

Open books, read the passage quickly and underline the key words.

T: What do they usually do on Easter holiday?

Ss:…

T: They roll Easter eggs. Roll, roll, roll, roll a ball. (图片呈现)

相同方法呈现look for eggs, eat chocolate eggs, meet the Easter Bunny. (设计意图:对play, roll, look for,eat, meet动词词组进行解释,通过精美的图片展示其他国家过复活节所进行的活动,让学生深刻理解每句话的意思。)

并播放Advertising video(宣传片)

(设计意图:加深学生对阅读材料的理解)

④While reading

T: The Easter party is very interesting. Will you come to the party? Please give a reply to Robin. So RSVP means… We can send an Email to Robin

before March 23rd. We can give a reply.

Ss: They will buy some food. They will make some Easter eggs.

(设计意图:对阅读材料中一些难点进行讲解)

⑤Post reading

T:I want to come to the Easer party, too. Help Ms Song write my diary. (设计意图:在阅读时教授学生阅读的技巧,由简到难,层层递进。最后通过完成一篇日记让学生完成整篇阅读理解的填空。)

Step3 Practice

T: Now, do you know how to write an invitation? We should tell friends When, why, where, what and RSVP. Miss Song’s birthday is coming. I write an invitation for you. You can imitate my invitation, write yours. When is your birthday? What will you do at your birthday party?

Ss: I/ We will dance/ play games/ make a wish/ sing the birthday song/ eat noodles/ eat a birthday cake……Make a poster for your birthday and discuss with your partner.

T: Now can you write an invitation? Please choose one to write.

(设计意图:通过谈论老师生日要做的事来巩固本课学习的用will来表达将要做的事,并通过自己设计邀请函来培养学生把所学新知运用到实践中的能力。)

Step4 Consolidation and Homework

1. Finish the poster for your birthday. Try to decorate it beautifully.

2. Introduce your poster to the team leaders.
