【导入】创设情境,导入新课。

T:Class begins , good morning ,boys and girls.

T:Look, What is it ? (A map , and it is the world map.)

On the world map there are many different countries .

This lesson let's learn Unit 6 Countries .And today we are going to travel to five countries.

【讲授】学习单词

1、学习China

(1)T :Look, Who's he ?(生:Binbin) Yes ,he's Binbin. Where is he from?(生:中国)G ood , he's from China .(师领读,生读)

(2)T:Binbin is from China, I'm from China ,too .Where are you from?(指名答)So i f you are Binbin , How do you introduce yourself ?You can use I'm …I'm fro m…(生答)

(3)So,what's China famous for ?(播放课件){展示大熊猫,北京烤鸭,长城}

2、学习Canada

(1)T:Now Binbin's foreign friends have been to China .They are from different c ountries . They are going to take part in the summer camp.Today they come to ou r class .Let's say to them :Welcome to China!

T:(播放课件)Look what's his name ?His name is Edward .Say "Hello" to Edward. Wh ere is he from? He's from Canada .(师领读、指名读)

(2)If you are Edward,how do you introduce yourself ?

3、学习Australia

(1)The next friend , his name is Cindy . Where is she from ?She's from Australi a .(师领读、指名读、男女生读)

小结:请同学们观察一下这个单词,和我们以前学过的单词有什么不同?(生答)

5、学习the USA

(1)The last friend ,his name is Nick ,Where is he from ?He's from the USA.(师领读、分组读)

小结:请大家观察一下这两个国家名和上面三个有什么不同?

师讲解:英国和美国的名称词都是由定冠词the 和几个大写字母构成的,他们是缩略词,这两个国家的名称词比较长,为了书写方便分别简写成the UK和the USA ,分别取每个单词前的首字母。

【活动】Let`s role-play

1、告诉学生将进行角色扮演活动。

2、教师和一名学生进行示范。

3、学生利用卡片信息进行角色扮演活动。学生四人一组,任意抽取一张卡片,进行交流。【练习】词汇操练

1、Read the words.

2、教师呈现任意一个国家的国旗,请学生说出该国名称。

Write the words five times and try to draw the maps of these countries.
