一、教学内容分析

(Warming up)部分提出了三个问题：航海家的含义；航海家与探险家的不同之处。“Sailing the oceans”，内容涉及海洋航行、人类早期的航海技术、中国历史上最著名的航海家郑和、辛巴达的第一次冒险航行等。”

(Reading)部分是一篇说明文，用百科全书的形式呈现出的内容是让学生了解在现代化的航海仪器发明之前人们是怎样航海的。阅读的内容分为两部分，首先介绍古代航海者怎样借助自然环境的帮助进行航海。然后介绍早期的航海者怎样利用航海仪器来确定经度和纬度。

九、反思

本节课是选修9的Unit2 Sailing the oceans ，是一篇说明文，用百科全书的形式呈现出的内容是让学生了解在现代化的航海仪器发明之前人们是怎样航海的。阅读的内容分为两部分，首先介绍古代航海者怎样借助自然环境的帮助进行航海。然后介绍早期的航海者怎样利用航海仪器来确定经度和纬度。讨论活动将激发学生对这一主题的深层次思考和参与热情。

其次，在课堂教学过程中，力求围绕以下几点：

1.集中学生注意，激发学习兴趣

课堂提问需要由浅入深、从易至难，使学生有好奇心，并且能够关注到各个层次的学生，让学生都积极参与教,同时不断地吸引学生的注意力，启动他们的心智，使他们的心理活动

定向于课堂的中心概念和内容上。

2.设计的问题有一定的启发性
