The students can master understand the following: What can I do? I can make tea/ cakes for old people. I can help them to carry things/ get on or off the bus/ clean their homes. Teaching difficult points

1. Greetings.

2. Free talk.

Step 2. Review.

The teacher ask the students these questions: 1.How’s the weather today ? 2. How about tomorrow? 3. Can you sing/dance/swim/play basketball/play chess /cook?

Step 3. Presentation .

Show the pictures of helping old people. The teacher says: Old people are weak and slow. Let’s help old people.What can I do? Then teach the follow sentences:

make tea for old people.

make cakes for them.

sing to them and make them happy. I can help old people on the road.

help them to get on or off the bus.

help them to carry things.

help them to clean their homes.

Step4.Read 1.Read the sentences above after the teacher. 2.The students read together. 3.The students read the sentences one by one.

Step5. Have a quiz. Who has a good memory?

Look at the pictures and

授课人：于向

第11周我上了一堂公开课，内容为湘少版六年级上册Uint 7What can I do?课型为新授课。通过一些英语教师的评课及我个人的反思，这堂课的优点可慨括为以下几点：

1. 通过询问学生

Can you do these things? 复习了can的用法，同时再现了sing , dance等单词。为学习新课做铺垫。

2.课堂设计一环套一环，在新授课时，教师由让学生说图片到说句子，严谨有序，由易到难，循序渐进，学生易接受。

3.听说读写贯穿于整个课堂，学生得到了四种技能的训练。

4.学生活动较多，有单个学生回答问题，男女分组朗读，两人一组活动，小组竞赛。学生能积极主动参与教学活动。

5.教师所学内容编成一首歌曲，让学生说唱，学生感兴趣，又巩固了新知识。

6.最后的“爱心大比拼”让课堂气氛再一次达到高潮，活跃了课堂气氛，加强了学生的爱心教育。 7.教学设计新颖﹑全面到位，教师花了不少功夫。

不足和需改进的地方;教师在授课时担心学生不懂，有些句子重复了，有点显得啰嗦。
