Language knowledge 1) Students should be able to pronounce and spell the words of this unit correctly and clearly. 2) Students should be able to recall the meaning and usage of the words in this unit. 3) Students should be able to get to know different classification in learning words. For example: one word with one meaning, one word with different meanings, one word with different part of speech, one word with different appearance, different words with similar appearance and compound words.

B. Language skill Students should be able to 1)

Master the usage of words , apply some useful phrases and expressions of the words to practice. 2)

Get the hang of the approaching to learning and remembering words and put it into practice. 3)

Get the knowledge of the classification of words. For example

Educational Objectives 1) Arouse student’s interests in learning words and develop a relaxing atmosphere. Also inspire them to review words without feeling bored or difficult. 2) Build up confidence by using easy, attainable tasks and motivate students’ awareness of the importance of leaning words. 3) Encourage students to learn it independently and to be active, brave, creative in the class. 4) Lead students to be cooperative in the class by using role-play, discussion, group work etc. 3. Personal objectives 1)

Using different and interesting ways to guide students to learn, for example doing games ( guessing game, challenging task, spotting teh difference,

the quiz), using pictures to explain etc. 2)

Try to use simple and clear instruction words to guide students and assign tasks. 3)

Teaching and thinking should be in student’s position.

My students are from 1511. They have learned this book and all the words in book before. Also they will preview the words of this unit in advance. Though their basic knowledge of English is not good enough, they are talkative and active in the class. I am convinced that they will be cooperative and energetic.
