Unit3 We should obey the rules. Lesson 17 天津市滨海新区塘沽桂林路小学

一、教学目标:

1、学生能够听说认读,并简单运用以下单词或短语:look out ,cross the street ,wait for the green light, keep off the grass, spit on the ground ,pick flowers, litter,take good care of young children. 2、学生通过学习,可以熟练使用功能句:You must...和You mustn’t...并能够在生活情景中灵活运用must, mustn’t进行交际。

3、通过活动练习,学生可以制定规则,并可以了解各种标志,同时在小组活动中可以提高小组合作意识和口语表达能力。

4、学生能够培养遵守各种公共社会规则的意识,自觉劝阻不遵守公共社会规则的人。最终让我们的社会更加和谐。

二、教学重、难点:

重点:能够掌握本课出现的单词或短语:look out ,cross the street ,wait for the green light, keep off the grass, spit on the ground ,pick flowers, litter,take good care of young children.并可以熟练使用功能句:You must...和You mustn’t...并能够在生活情景中灵活运用。

难点:must和mustn’t表示告诫的句型应用。

三、学情分析

五年级的小学生在学习英语上已经有了一定的基础,他们具备较强的模仿能力并具备一定的语言学习基础。本课是第三单元的第五课时,同学们已在前几课学习了school rules, home rules,本课是让学生们掌握social rules。培养学生遵守各种公共社会规则,自觉劝阻不遵守公共社会规则的人。

四、教学过程

1、 Warm up:

(1)Greeting: (2)In the first four lessons, we have learned some rules, what are they? PPT In the school, we should obey the school rules. What should we do at school?让学生举手说

PPT At home, we should obey the home rules. What should we do at home?See the pictures and say the rules. In the public place, we should obey the social rules. Today we will learn the new lesson----Unit3 We should obey the rules. Lesson 17. 2、Presentation (1)Story time.It’s about the minions. T: Today is a sunny day. The Scarlet(斯嘉丽) takes(带) minions to her cattle(城堡). 1)What a beautiful park! Let’s start our happy day! They play an the grass.Scarlet is very angry.You must keep off the grass. 2)

Kevin spits on the ground .He doesn’t notice the sign .Scarlet says: “You mustn’t spiton the ground.”

3) The flowers are beautiful. He is picking the flowers. Is he right?

What does Kevin say to him?Can you guess? Learn “You mustn’t pick the flowers.”

4)Bob sees some bananas.He says “Wow, banana!”And then he eats one and throws the skin on the ground .What do you want to say to him? Learn “You mustn’t litter.”

5)Stuart is not happy now.Bob and minions take good care of Stuart. Do you know how to express “照顾儿童”?

See a picture ,learn “take good care of young child”

“children”It’s right. So you must take good care of the young children. 6)

It’s 4:00. It’s time to go home.They are very tired. Bob is not paying attention to the traffic lights. Oh, no! It’s dangerous! Look out! You mustn’t cross the street now. You must wait for the green light. 7)

These are minions’ rules , let’s see our rules in daily life. Listen to the tape and read it. Then retell the text, give tips. 8)

In this video ,there are some traffic rules, let’s see what they are.出图red light --wait for, green light--cross the street. Let’s chant. When it’s red , stop, stop, stop. When it’s yellow, wait, wait, wait. When it’s green , go, go, go. We , must, must, obey ,obey the rules. (3)Lucky time. What must we do? What mustn’t we do?

(让一位同学来点转盘,其他同学来问这两句话)

3、Practice: (1)Let’s make and talk.

Can you write some rules for one of these situations? 教学反思:

一、趣味导入,激发兴趣

学生刚上课时心理处于紧张状态,所以我设计了用英语与学生打招呼,用旧知引出新知,并使学生的注意力变得集中,激发了学习兴趣,学生很自然地进入了良好的学习状态,并且为下面的教学环节作好铺垫。

二、设计情境,引入情境

小学生对卡通人物总是充满着喜欢与兴奋,小黄人等卡通人物对于他们来说觉得非常有趣,而且很喜爱,所以我设计让这些卡通人物成为今天的主人公,带领大家一起进入故事的海洋,去寻找知识的殿堂。这样就给学生提供了一个有趣、轻松、活泼的氛围去学习今天的新知。

三、联系实际,灵活运用

倡导体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的学习方式是英语教学的一个重点。在这一部分中,让学生以小组进行讨论、制作、汇报。积极发挥他们的主观能动性,让他们真正的成为了课堂的主人!

通过这次上课,我深深地感受到,教师应该真真正正的关注每一名学生的发展,把学生的兴奋细胞统统调动起来,才能让学生真正的成为课堂上的小主人,真正爱上英语这门学科!
