describe some people to students and let them guess who they are according to my description. 2.brain storming :think of as many words as they can and learn to describe a person according to given sentence structures.

设计意图：先通过猜人物的游戏直入今天的主题——伟大的女性。再通过头脑风暴的形式，激发学生词汇的储备，并以追问的形式让学生进行简单的句式表达。

Step2: Revision （1）Review vocabulary:

Find the phrases for each of the following meanings. At the same time

find the sentences containing these phrases from the passage and translate them into Chinese. 设计意图：先给出英文释义和词组相应表达，让学生进行配对子。再回归课本找到出处并译成汉意。这样就可以使学生在语境中感受词汇并且所用到的词汇也是为下步进行铺垫。

（2）Recall sentences: Use the sentences from the passage to answer my different kinds of questions. 设计意图：通过问题的形式让学生使用课本原句回答问题，再提炼重点表达方式。通过阅读提取语块。这样既可以回顾课本又可以按照我的指引方向，让学生说出我想让他们说出的语块，为下步的翻译句子做好进一步的铺垫作用。

（3）Make sentences Use what we learned in this lesson to make new sentences. 设计意图：从前边的第一步，第二步到这步的连词成句，给学生大量的输入。通过步步为营，脚手架的搭建，彻底实现了降低学生写作的难度，也都是为学生最

后的微写作词汇及句式的积累与铺垫。

Step3: Writing (1)Writing: Use at least 6 of the given phrases to write a small passage. The most difficult sentence is suggested as an example. 设计意图：本步通过上边的各个环节，步步铺垫，把输入的短语及句式进行有效输出的环节。是对前边知识的迁移和升华运用。再次把本节课反复运用的语块呈现，给学生布置写的任务，即所学运用到写作之中，也是对学生对于本节课所学知识更深层面的考查。

(2)Assessment: After finishing writing part,

exchange your passage with your

partner and correct the mistakes if any. Next, let students show their works. Later, I will show the possible version. At last, evaluate themselves to check what they have learnt. 设计意图：所有环节完成后，老师先给出具体的评价标准。让学生互评作文找出错误。然后进行展示，同时其他学生和老师进行评价，即生生评价和师生评价。老师出示的范文给学生提供参照物，同时找到差距，为自己今后写作积累素材。最后让学生进行对本节课收获进行自我评价。
