教学设计说明

学情分析:

五年级的学生对英语学***的热情,他们敢于表达,乐于倾听。通过四年多的英语学***多数学生可以在图片等媒介的帮助下认读各类已学词汇,能进行简单的问答交流,也能用简单的句型描述某些人或事物,初具分享、交流与合作的能力。

在学习本单元内容之前,在4AM2U3中接触过有关的房间类词汇,如:living room,bathroom,kitchen等,但学生从未接触过有关朝向的词汇。

模块教学任务分析:

5A M2从家人、朋友入手,三个单元的教学主题分别是Grandparents(祖父母),

Friends(朋友)以及Moving home(搬家),都是日常生活内容,源自学生实际。通过本模块的学习,激发学生关爱家人、朋友的感情。

第1单元的落脚点“祖父母”,主要通过询问孩子是否经常拜访祖父母来激发孩子对老人的关爱之情。第2单元以“朋友”为主题,重点介绍和朋友相处之道。第3单元着重讲述热爱家的理由,激发孩子对家庭的热爱之情。

单元教学任务分析:

5AM2U3以Moving home(搬家)为主题,主要教授东、南、西、北四个最基本的方位词:east, south, west, north;通过创设主人公The Chens买房子、搬新家的情境,围绕新家进行介绍和讨论,初步感知、操练与运用Why …? Because …阐述自己喜欢新家的理由。在此过程中,借助视觉与听觉来学会看房型图,学会观察、学会倾听、尝试交流与分享。此外,通过对故事的阅读,积累一定的生活经验,能够体会人与自然环境是紧密相连的。以及能正确朗读、分辨两对清浊辅音:/f/ /v/和/θ/ /ð/。

单元教学设计思考:

第一课时,创设主人公The Chens去房产销售中心买房子的情境,围绕“房型图”进行介绍和讨论,初步感知、操练与运用Look at the floor plan. The...face(s)...There is/are…

…can…等相关句型,对房型图进行描述;并能观察家里各个房间的朝向,通过简图来合理介绍自己的住所。

第二课时,以Mr Chen和女儿Sally在新房子里讨论自己喜欢的房间,操练与运用句型Which…do you like? Why? 来询问喜欢的房间及其理由,感受对家的喜爱之情。

第三课时,通过主人公Peter向自己的朋友Danny介绍自己的新家,进一步运用

巩固第一课时的核心词组,在语境中运用句型It only takes …

,感受对家的喜爱之情。

第四课时,通过大雁在冬天往南飞的这个现象,帮助学生更好的理解change这个含义,鼓励孩子学会多观察大自然的奥秘,感受家的温馨和美好。

1.能初步感知和理解单元核心词汇,如:east, south, west, north等。

2.能初步看懂房型图,运用相关句型描述房间的朝向。

第一课时

学习与初步运用face east, face south, face west, face north等表示方向的词汇,注意音、义、形。

C:Mrs Chen A: Hello, welcome. Can I help you? B: Yes, we want to buy a new flat.

B: There are five people in our family. A: Oh, I see. We have two kinds of flats. Please look at the floor plans. This is Flat A. There are eight rooms. The big bedroom faces south. There’s a lot of sunshine. It is very bright. The study faces east. You can see a small river. The kitchen and the dining room face north. There’s a garden in front of them. Children can play in it. The bathroom faces west. You can see a beautiful fountain. B: How about Flat B? A: Let’s have a look. There are seven rooms in it. But it has no study.

C:Do you like Flat A or Flat B? B:I like Flat A. Because I need a study. I can read books there. C: It sounds great.

Period 2 A: Mr Chen

B: Sally

The Chens have a new home.

Dad: Are you happy with our new home, Sally? Sally: Yes, it’s lovely.

Dad: Which room do you like? Sally: Hmm, I like the living room. Dad: Why? Sally: Because it’s so big! And it faces south. There’s a lot of sunshine. We can watch TV and play games in it. What about you, Dad? Dad: I like the study. Sally: Why do you like it? Dad: Because it’s quiet. I can read books there. Where are Peter and Paul?

Sally: They’re in the garden. They always play with their new friends. They like our

new home too. I know why. Dad: Why? Sally: Because there is a slide, two swings and a seesaw there. They can play in the garden all day! How happy! I’d like to play with them. Bye! Dad!

Dad: Have a good time!

第二课时教学目标:

1. 能在情境中运用核心词组face east, face south, face west, face north等。

2. 能在情境中初步感知、理解与运用句型... be happy with ... ,尝试用Why…?询问喜
