教材分析：

本节课使用的教材是新路径英语第八册（供三年级起使用），我所授课的内容是第三单元第九课In All Colours and Shapes的第二课时，涉及页数为：P48-49页。学生已经在一课时学习了主题故事，以及8种图形的单词，本节课是故事教学后的拓展练习课，内容包括了编新歌谣，用不同的形状画出新的图形以及描述图形、相关知识的阅读理解。通过让学生观察、思考、动手画及描述图形、阅读相关的知识，来培养学生的创新能力、动手能力，达到提高学生综合运用语言的能力。 学情分析：

石笋街小学五年级的学生，已经养成了良好的英语学习习惯及较强的听、说、读、写能力。他们对英语学习仍持有浓厚的学习兴趣，善于观察生活中的事物，能独立思考问题，动手能力较强，对本课涉及到的编歌谣、画图形等内容应该很感兴趣。

教学目标：

1、知识目标

1) 利用一课时所学有关形状的词汇及相关知识，编出新的歌谣。

2) 利用所学的图形画出新的图形，并对画出的新图形进行描述。

3) 与制作图形相关的阅读理解。

2、技能目标

1）能够模仿例句，改编出新的歌谣。

2）能够发挥自己的创造力，画出更多的图形并描述。

3）能够了解短文大意，完成相关习题。

3、情感、态度、策略目标

1）通过图形的学习，让学生善于去观察生活中的图形。

2）以小组活动的形式展开各项练习、培养学生团结合作意识、竞争意识。

教学重点：

1、让学生能够通过对图形以及相关知识的学习，编出新的歌谣。

2、让学生能用所学的图形画出新的图形，并对画出的新图形进行描述。

3、学生能够阅读与制作图形相关的阅读理解，了解短文大意。

教学难点：通过新编歌谣、描述图形、阅读理解，培养学生的创新能力、动手能力以及综合运用语言的能力。

教学设计理念：

本课内容是对第一课时所学内容的复习巩固和拓展。为了调动学生的积极性，使练习过程生动、有趣，我利用多媒体课件、图片、实物等教学资源辅助教学，以小组活动的形式展开各项练习，让学生带着任务参与到各项活动中去，如编歌谣、动手画、描述图片等，通过这些活动来培养学生合作意识、思维能力、创新能力、动手能力，以达到综合运用语言的能力。
