（一）教材分析：本单元取自选修9第三单元中心话题是“澳大利亚”，主要内容涉及澳大利亚的地理、历史、主要城市、自然风光、野生动植物、风俗习惯等内容。

（二）学情分析: 学生在系统的学习之后，已经掌握了一定的基础和分析文章的能力，选修9的内容可以更好地夯实学生所学的内容，督促学生将自己所掌握的方法系统化，更好地应用。

（三）教学目标

1．掌握语言知识词汇:归纳总结在句中什么成分可以作表语及其功能。

2．语言技巧: 通读、略读、细读等方法在段落篇章阅读中运用，以及对文章风格特点的把握。

3．学习策略学生在一定程度上形成自主学习、合作学习、英语思维能力以及综合运用语言能力。

（四）教学的重点和难点

1重点: 了解澳大利亚的地理、历史、主要城市、自然风光。

2难点: 归纳复习语法项目---表语; 让学生掌握辩论技巧，对提供的

辩题进行辩论。
